My mum and I really enjoyed the visit to Ruckers Hill. Thank you to the very kind manager, and staff who are so attentive to all the residents. Your home is very inviting, clean, warm and beautifully decorated.

Resident manager always 'look' busy. Never be on her desk. Receptionist keep telling me she is on break or smoking. I have observed that the place was very clean. My parent's room has no food.I also amazed that not enough of staff around in such a big place. It is scary when lunch break, only one staff taking care of 15 people. Staff always rushed to clean up.It is so weird. Carer also clean plates and stacked them, like they are a kitchen staff, not a aged care staff. One time, my mother has to wait toileting since after lunch, most staff have to help stacking the plates in kitchen area.I believe Management has to do something about this overwork for aged care to help the kitchen department.It is like a military base not a aged care. Life style was overly nice and seemed fake. Podiatrist and massager was only 'touch' skin and not engaging ,only watching TV.Do not get fooled by the fancy 5 stars look. Stay away if you love your parent, you should do more observation.

Beautiful fresh food, top quality coffee and homely, comfortable hospitality. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing morning or afternoon.

I visit as a Volunteer. Absolutely impeccable place to call home when needing assisted care. The furnishings, staff, daily activities, silver service and the meticulate upkeep of the place is truly exceptional when compared with other facilities. I'm very fussy when it comes to mum's care-the only thing preventing me from transferring my elderly mother to their care is that she now experiences limited English as a result of Dementia and given that English is/was her second language. I do however highly recommended this Care Facility as a main stream facility. The word Sapphire in their company name SapphireCare truly reflects their culture. Good work!
