Went to the medical centre next door today and Wirrina have put up a Yatala prison" gate. There's no parking and I fear ambulances can't get in or out....and what about the fire hazard???? Access is now very limited. Very selfish! 0 stars Wirrina!"

I am writing to express my profound disappointment with the recent actions taken by your head office regarding the shared parking arrangement with the local medical centre. As a member of the community who relies on the medical centre for healthcare services, I am appalled by the decision to block off the parking bays and erect a large fence that blocks one of the entrances used by the shared businesses. This action not only goes against the values that Warinna Homes claims to uphold, particularly in regards to care, teamwork, and being a good corporate citizen, but also demonstrates a level of pettiness that is concerning. It is unacceptable that your head office would prioritise greed over the wellbeing of the community, particularly the elderly residents who rely on the medical centre for their healthcare needs and whom are your aged care clients. What is particularly disheartening is the fact that your company is not even using the parking bays that were previously shared. It seems like an unnecessary act of aggression to block them off, especially when it makes it more difficult for patients of the medical centre to access the care they need. This pettiness goes against the Christian ethos that Warinna Homes claims to embody and makes it difficult to believe in the company's commitment to care, respect, and trust. The original shared parking arrangement was a fair and equitable solution that benefited all parties involved. It is disappointing to see Warinna Homes take unilateral action without considering the impact on the other businesses and the community as a whole.I urge Warinna Homes to reconsider their actions and work towards finding a reasonable solution that benefits everyone, particularly the elderly residents who rely on the medical centre for their healthcare needs. It is important to prioritise the needs and wellbeing of the community, and I hope that Warinna Homes can demonstrate their commitment to their stated values (on your website) by taking appropriate action. For anyone else reading this, and feel as outraged as I and others do about this issue, you can contact the Tea Tree Gully council and give your feedback, or even reach out to Warinna Homes directly to let them know how you feel about their actions. As a community, it's important that we hold businesses accountable and ensure that everyone is treated fairly and with dignity and respect.
