Built in 1850, the lodge is rich in history and is a cosy, comfortable home surrounded by tranquil gardens and mountain and park views. The centre is conveniently located with access to public transport and is only 2 minutes’ drive to the New Town Plaza and local services. We work closely with the local community and over time have built a reputation as an organisation that genuinely cares for others in need, without discrimination.

Barrington Lodge Aged Care Centre
This is an outstanding Aged Care Facility.My Nan was a resident there for several years until her passing at 98 years old.Staff were always very caring and genuinely interested in ensuring all residents received the best care as possible.Barrington Lodge is a beautiful building set amongst well maintained gardens.

My dear grand mother spent her last moments here. Staff appeared friendly tho a lot of foreigners and the elder generations dont tollerate things they arent used to too much. And quite often when id visit the toilet was dirty and asking for help to take Nan outside for a walk seemed to be like hard work for the staff. Not my most recommended place
