Freedom Farms

Early this month we had a 2 night stay at this charming farmhouse on a beautiful property in the Scenic Rim. Unfortunately, disruption to the power supply left us without potable drinking water from the underground tanks, flushing toilets, showering facilities or reliable refrigeration. We had to drive to Rathdowney to use the toilets and get hot coffee. The issues was exacerbated by the cleaner not leaving the house compendium in an obvious location - if at all - and a bottled water supply contractor not replenishing stock. Contact with property representatives was made difficult without the compendium or farm managers business card. Similarly, contact with the booking agent was difficult with only limited internet connectivity. The farm manager, Clive, was apologetic and advised that Steve" the owner would want to compensate us for the loss of amenity during our $375 (total cost) a night stay. Sadly

Stayed at this old world charm for 3 days. Quite, well equipped and comfortable place.

Great place, well equipped and in a magic area. Highly recommended.

Fantastic 4-night stay for our family of four + dog looking to completely unwind on school holidays. House has everything you need with a well-stocked kitchen and comfortable linen and beds in the bedrooms. We spent every night surrounding the outdoor fire pit and deck watching the sunset over the hills and mountains beyond and stargazing after dark. We will definitely return.

Highly recommend Freedom Farm. We had a lovely long weekend away. Relaxing for the adults and plenty of room to roam and explore for the kids and dogs. We will be back!
