The weirdest, most uncomfortable shopping situation I have ever experienced in all my trips around the sun.I came into Hairhouse Southwharf and up until this point, my day was ok. I might even say it was verging on good. But once I crossed the threshold, an unwelcoming hellscape awaited me.I was greeted and asked did I need a hand with anything? Which is great, good basic customer service skills. Well done. I declined as I knew what I was after and enjoyed browsing. I kept looking and tried one of the testers.Then a 2nd different staff member came up and asked me if i needed a hand whilst awkwardly straightening bottles around the product I was looking at. Cool, ok staff seem to be overly really attentive and also annoying, no biggie. They eventually leave.But the 3rd time yet ANOTHER staff member came and did the same thing, I felt a little sus. Also, how the hell do you have so many employees? Things were getting weird.Everywhere I went, there was someone watching me. Every aisle I walked in, another worker would come stare at me. I wouldn't be surprised at this point if i find one in my house since returning home. I wonder if I'm going to wake up tomorrow and I'm going to hear a faint you need a hand" from under my bed

I had my first appointment today after hearing great things about Marie and the experience from start to finish was more than perfect.I had my hair coloured and it looks Health, I’ve never felt so fresh. Love my new look. Highly recommend Marie

Popped in today to get our hair done. From the beginning to end - a fantastic experience. Lena did a perfect cut and blow wave on my eldest hair and did a awesome job of a blow wave on my hair and finishing off with soft wave curls. What a fantastic hairdresser and such a lovely and friendly personality. A huge Thank you Lena for the great service that was provided to my daughters and myself today. Will definitely be back when visiting Melbourne. Thank you also to Helen for the lovely blow wave that was done on my youngest daughters hair. Thanks girls Tanya Nicol Excellent customer service. I definitely recommend this salon. Mary created the perfect hair colour for me; just what I wanted, if not better. The team are all very welcoming making you feel right at home in the salon. The prices are also very reasonable.

I absolutely loved what Marie did with my hair. I have finally found somebody that knows my hair, the colour was spot on and I felt like a new woman when I left. Marie is so experienced with both colour and cut and she created the most beautiful bouncy blow wave with curls which was the best I’ve ever had! Thank you so much Marie! You made my day ☺️❤️

Had my hair done today by Marie. She was amazing, Marie brought my dull lifeless hair back to life. The colour and cut is amazing. So happy with Marie's work and my new hair. Marie also made time to fit my hubby and daughter in for a haircut and did a great job with theirs also.
