Actually the pool is closed after Easter until October. I'm disappointed this information isn't sign posted on the building or online. If not for that, it looked OK from the outside of the entry gate.

It is a good 25m open air pool. There is a toddlers pool also, with a sun shade. The pool has a grass surround and overlooks the river. It is the home to Myal masters sc.

We took the ferry across. Busy...noisy. loads of kids. But it's summer holiday. To be expected I guess. You had better like hordes of people if you do this tour in January.

I came here for a Masters Swimming Carnival so cannot comment on the centre during normal hours. It worked well as a venue for a carnival. The pool is located in a relaxed and open air setting. There is only one 25m pool and there are limitations with it being outdoors. It is hard to keep out of the sun and prevent sunburn in the middle of summer here as there isn't much shade. The whole centre, in particular the change rooms, are in need of an upgrade.

Y new operators, no weekend services for the community, strange approach for new operators, also council allowed a facility like this to be vacant over the biggest period of the year and agree to minimal service operations.

Great pool for a couple of hours with the kids. Very clean and well maintained and friendly staff. Swingball and bean bag tossing games kept the kids entertained as well.
