Southport Car Repairs

I had been taking my car there for years and when I took it to another mechanic finally they told me the oil looked like it had never been changed and all the rubber rings around the area had become so brittle they had to be snapped off. They took me into the workshop and showed me all these things. They also took photos throughout the whole process and I was able to see for myself how the oil was a completely thick sludge. It was so thick my ''check oil'' kept coming on it and it was because the entire system was so clogged. I had been taking my car for the recommended services there. There is no reason the oil should have been able to get to that point if the oil was being changed properly during the services at Southport Car Repairs. My engine was very close to being permanently destroyed.

Was a customer for over 15 years. Just found out I was not getting a good deal.Needed shocks replaced. Got 3 quotesThis garage was over 200.00 dollars dearer than the other two quotes.Went elsewhere and had Monroe shocksInstalled. Was also quoted a far cheaper rate for other repairs. After all these years feel pretty annoyed for being taken for a ride. Have now found an excellentMechanic who also supplies a free of charge courtesy car.

I was a customer for years. Found them really reliable. Then yet changed hands. Been back twice since ..stuffed up a job on my brakes and rear shockers. They then supposedly rectified the problem and didn'tDon't go there.It's sad when a really good business changes hands and goes th sh .

I've had a fantastic experience getting a few things fixed on my Iload van recently. They are friendly, priced fairly, and actually know what their talking about when it comes to problems with these vans.

This place was absolutely fantastic service. As a female not knowing anything about cars I was looked after so well. They explained everything to me in detail. They even dropped me off to where I had to wait until my car was serviced so I didn't have to walk. I felt so respected and looked after. More Mechanics should be like these guys. Jade

If your a young women and don’t know anything about cars, definitely don’t recommend. Spent a fortune on parts for the screws to come off while driving and racq found missing bullets loose in my car.

I've just had my A/C compressor replaced on my Kia Rio, Greg and Chris gave me a quote upfront and kept to that quote. Chris called during the day to let me know it really needed an oil change and if I'd like them to do that too. I knew It was well overdue for it so they fixed everything for me and even put on new windscreen wipers front and back for free and gave the dash and engine a good clean. Great job!
