Tunks Park Playground
Beautiful big park for dogs to run around, a good bike track and also a nice bush waking circuit. Free parking but can be tough to get a good spot in peak times so you may need to park up the hill and walk down. Public toilets and lots of water fountains for filling up drink bottles and giving your pup a drink too. Great spot.

Half the kids playground is fenced off. Swings and diggers still available. But just down the hill there's a walk with lots of rock formations for kids and adults to explore. Look in the carpark for the cafe sign and the coffee cart

Beautiful space, however parking on weekends can be bit of a challenge.

Tunks Park Playground
Beautiful recreation area, scenery includes waterfront, river path with stone crossings, semi tropical vegetation, and historic sites. Highly recommend!

Easy to spend an hour or two here. There’s a walk that you can start here which will lead you all the way up to Willoughby Leisure Centre on a track through the bush. The ovals themselves are situated between a valley leading under Long Gully Bridge. There’s opportunity for children’s park, toilets or watching a local game of crickets here on weekends. Parking is alongside the oval and also next to Middle Harbour water boat ramp.

Overall, this playground is plenty of fun for the kids (ages 1-8), albeit the swings are for pretty small kids and some of the equipment is showing signs of solid aging and other damage. While the playground may be considered “fenced”, parents should be warned that is a very generous definition - if you are worried about that sort of thing.Kids always escape down the hill to the oval - so be prepared for that. And the bathrooms are a fair hike. So the “I really need to go” refrain is even less welcome here.

Not the best for dog walking and ball fetching, always kids playing stupid sports

Beautiful park. Great little spot amongst the trees. Never realised this is what's under the bridge. Lush green fields, there's a tap to grab water for you and the dog. Seems a fair amount of parking down near the water, though I expect fills up quickly between boats launching and sporting game days. Can also park along the upper streets and walk down the paths to access the fields. Worth noting if editing fields on North Sydney side of the bridge, you can't turn right to head to Northbridge. The footpath through the park is wide but fills with large puddles of water after rain which is a bit annoying and defeats it's purpose as you're forced to walk onto the wet grass.Key for parents: There was a guy with a little coffee cart in the carpark, does toasties as well, very handy pre-game I expect!
