Trucks are really loud and they run all-night apart from that that its perfect base to explore from. Scottsdale is an amazing town.

Pretty spot with adequate toilet/shower facilities, however, cannot recommend for an overnight stay. The trucks and local louts ensure any chance of sleeping is excluded. Dog owners also need an education in dog poop collection....really??? How difficult is it to pick up after your dog??

Nice flat parking area maintained by the local service clubs.. Right on the main drag so could b a little noisy for some. Toilets are clean and well maintained. $3 for a 4 minute shower. Playground. Covered picnic area. Garbage bins. Town water. Clothes line. Can't ask for any more from a free camp. Donation system in place and well worthy of a $ or 5.Town is just up the hill. Information centre very helpful with some great gift options too.

Great free camping. Clean toilets and a hot shower. Bit noisy street traffic at night though. Platypus in the lake

What a delightful little spot. Free camp but donations gladly accepted. Clean amenities, hot showers 3 x $1 for 4 mins. Toilet dump. BBQ, picnic tables, running water pond filled with ducks, eels, platypus, frogs and possums. Our favourite spot so far.

Great free campsite. We stayed 6 nights. The max stay is 14 nights. The facilities toilets and showers are cleaned daily even Good Friday! Showers are $3 for 3 minutes only one male and one female shower. Beautiful grassy sites some with hook up water and grey water drains. There is even a dump point and great free gas bbqs. Set in a park alongside a lovely little creek and some nice little nature tracks. Walking distance into Scottsdale township which has everything you need and is a great little town. Really loved this site but gets very busy and fills quickly so be early.

Could do with some maintenance and a clean up on the walking tracks. Obviously there's been a storm though sometime ago. I know that it's probably up to volunteers but it would be great to see it looked after. If I lived closer I would love to help out. A bonus was to see a couple of platypus playing about. The idea of free camping with public toilets and shower too is great.
