Talisker Conservation Park
It is an interesting place with the ruins of a few buildings (some being almost whole) dotted around. You get a snippet of South Australia's mining history

YO THIS PLACE IS LITERALLY AMAZON FOREST. Driving through here reminds me of the Jurassic Park scene where they drive through the park. So beautiful and untouched. There are walks through the forest that doesn't feel like it's toned down for the general public. It feels like a real forest

Really fun. Amazing place. Covered in maidenhair ferns in winter. Going off trail with GPS device, found rare glow in the dark mushrooms. Go deep enough in and you can see the amazing ocean views. Gigantic mining shafts are dotted everywhere randomly, watch out!

There's a great bench and table on top of a hill here that lets you sit and eat while appreciating the views all the way to Kangaroo Island. Good starting point to do walks to the nearby mines or surrounding hills and valleys.

A little bit out of the way, but worth checking out, there's a few walking tracks if you're up for a hike, otherwise it's a short walk down to the ruins.

Step back into a former silver mine and village. The area has sign posted information where you can compare what was there, to what you're seeing today, and well posted tracks.Well worth the short detour off the main road to Cape Jervis.

An interesting enough area of our State, with great opportunities for walking and photography, and many species of wildlife, including numerous types of birds. If it's the bush" you like
