Billy's Table
Really impressed by our first visit to Billy’s on Saturday night. Nice intimate space and service was friendly, attentive and efficient. All the food was delicious but the standouts for us were the Calamari, provolone cheese and Butter bean mash. Also had the hummus (which we took home as so full!) garlic flatbread, crispy potatoes, chilli wood fired broccoli and Apple crumble with custard. Very impressed and can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu.

We really enjoyed our lunch. We shared an amazing platter of a range of food, recommended by Billy. A delicious array of tastes and the dessert platter was divine. Try the lemon tarts, in fact, just ask to be surprised by Billy’s Table choices! Also, such great value too.

Faultless!Enjoyed a hearty granola & poached pear & berry breakfast and great coffee.The sweets looked amazingly decadent (for another time) & great varied menu to suit all tastes. Clean, authentic venue with lots of pride.

Been here a couple of times and the food always tasted great. It is always packed so would be good to book for reservation. Managed to get the last table outside. Service is excellent and we felt looked after. Although when we ate here, we were outside and its raining, would be good to add more lights and also protection from the rain. Other than that, all is good. You should try it here. Their pizza is great.

Billy's Table is focussed around food cooked in the wood oven. It's fresh. It's seasonal. It's carefully considered. It's always delicious. The staff are lovely and really friendly. It is popular so it is worth making a booking. Good wine list with some boutique offerings on there. Don't skip the vegetable dishes - they are good. As is the house bread and hummus!

This place was a surprise. My wife and I chose Billy’s Place from the Entertainment App for SA and couldn’t have been more grateful we did. We entered into a lively 60/70s vibe smashed with Mediterranean Cuisine and boy the food was good. We both ordered wood fired pizza (my wife being Coeliac had Billy’s gluten free sour dough base, which she rated as the best she’s tasted). Huge drinks range helped, we both had drinks made fresh in house and finished off with a short chat with Billy himself. Owner of multiple restaurants around Adelaide, it was clear he was passionate about what he was doing and loved the food he made. So did we. We will be back with the rest of our family.

Billy's table, situated in trendy Elizabeth Street, Croydon is a a great place to dine and catch up with friends. Great food, service and also their Frappe deserves a special mention, it was superb.

Beware gnocchi bullets!! Staff asked how meal was and I was contemplating whether to say something so I decided I should, not after anything as I was going to eat it anyway. To my surprise, the waitress said “I notice the difference when the chef makes it fresh, the gnocchi is more pillowy,” then proceeded with “enjoy your meal” & walked off. Kinda laughable how much interest they have in customer feedback. Anyway, I paid t her full price of $30 with the side of burnt undercooked eggplant. I’m going to add, the sauce on the gnocchi was delicious so I’m still keen to give them another shot but I hope the boss reads this and reflects on taking customer feedback seriously.

TLDR: OK and showing promise.Service: OK but could have been better. Our server was nice but clearly didn't have enough training (hint: it's always a good idea to suggest daily specials). The place seems rather understaffed.Atmosphere: Quite nice but a little too generic, very boring 70s/80s soft rock in the background.Food: very nice extensive menu, great breakfast options. Interesting daily specials. The waiting time for the food was rather long taking into account the restaurant wasn't very busy. The special, rabbit stew, was plentiful but bland beyond hope. Other dishes we shared were much better and also very well sized but none of them especially memorable.We are going to give this place another try as we think it's showing a lot of promise.
