Jasmine was recommended to us by our builder and she proved everything he promised: top end, meticulous in design and detail and providing the whole package.We were looking for someone to design three bathrooms where there had been two, and work out some extremely tricky roof lines and sloping ceilings – a job that seemed to confuse and confound most people who looked at it. Jasmine and her team were exceptional – measuring and working out all the relevant roof heights and slopes that went everywhich way, moving walls and using cavities but all with minimal building needs.The outcome is three beautiful modern bathrooms using every bit of space thoughtfully with plenty of storage and every convenience considered. They look amazing and are so easy to live in.We were under a very tight time deadline to get all the plans and fixtures and fittings ordered in time for the build to start and Jasmine and her team prioritised our job so that this all worked and the entire job was completed to time. (The builder that we used works with Jasmine closely and often and he was by far the best builder we’ve ever worked with.)I have would highly recommend JM Design and in fact I already have a friend using their services. You won’t regret it!

We originally engaged Jasmine to assist with interior design and finishes throughout our entire house. We had already started the building process. We soon discovered that Jasmines talents extend way beyond choosing finishes and tiles. Jasmine immediately identified areas of our design where the functionality could be improved. We took on board Jasmines design ideas and the result has been a significant improvement to the style and functionality of our house, in particular the kitchen/dining/loungeroom and Master Bedroom Retreat including a stunning Dressing Room and Ensuite. We were so impressed we continued our relationship with Jasmine right through the building phase to the final selection of soft furnishings for the final product.From the initial meeting, Jasmine listened to us and was immediately in tune with the design outcomes that we were aiming for. Trusting Jasmines design ideas allowed us to be more daring with some of our choices and finishes, in particular the tile selections and kitchen design. Her knowledge of products and finishes kept us at the cutting edge of current and upcoming trends. Jasmine allowed us to be involved in as much of the design process as we wanted to be, most areas we left completely to Jasmines discretion and when we added our own input it was great to have Jasmine to bounce our own ideas off.Jasmine and Barbra are an extremely efficient team, responding quickly to any queries we had along the way. Jasmines attention to detail is impeccable; she is very professional but maintains a relaxed and fun approach to her work which we really appreciated.We were very happy with trades that were recommended to us, in particular for the extensive custom joinery used throughout the house. Overall, we would highly recommend Jasmine and her team, by engaging a team of professionals we were able to achieve an amazing result; we only wish we had engaged her earlier on in the project!

Jasmine and her wonderful team helped us renovate our 50 year old house. The entire experience was seamless and very rewarding. We were particularly impressed with the prompt replies to our queries and coordination between Jasmine, our builder Luke and various trades. It took the stress away from our renovation. In fact, we are teaming up with Jasmine again for our second project.We have no hesitation in highly recommending Jasmine and her team for any project.

Jasmine and the team at JMD were a pleasure to deal with and quickly understood our lifestyle and needs. Communication was prompt and courteous and the design ideas fresh and innovative.JMD designed our lounge area and TV wall along with kitchen bench tops and tiles to compliment our architect designed kitchen.JMD worked with us on all our furnishings and colour schemes from rugs and sofas, dining tables and chairs to kitchen stools, curtains and lighting, right thru to artwork, cushions and even pot plants.We really enjoyed the whole experience and we love the space so much we hardly ever feel like leaving.Thank you JMD

Jasmine was recommended to us by a friend and from our first conversation we knew she was the right person to work with to design our new kitchen.As people who love to entertain but also also have a small child, having a beautiful, yet functional and durable kitchen and entertaining space was very important.From the beginning Jasmine and Skarlet worked with us to understand how we wanted to live in the space, what was important to us from a design and functionality perspective. They took on board our ideas but also encouraged us to think outside the box and be more adventurous with our choice. JMD prepared several options for the layout and finishings for the kitchen and walked us through them in detail, giving us plenty of time to consider and discuss.JMD had a great vision for the kitchen as well as ideas as to how we could reconfigure the open plan living room to make the most of the new kitchen.We are so thrilled with the finished kitchen, the colours and finishings are perfect and it is everything we hoped for and more. The new island bench (designed by JMD) is now a favourite place to cook, entertain and read the paper.Throughout the process JMD were a delight to work with, always responsive and helpful. We loved that we could also engage JMD to help review the plans from the builder and for advice along the way. We will definitely work with JMD again.

We first approached Jasmine and JMD in 2018 to assist with a refresh of our house. At the time our children were on the cusp of leaving home, and we wanted to zone the living spaces to better suit a couple, but also make the house more sustainable and contemporary. Two bathrooms, a kitchen, powder room, and upgraded living spaces later, we are delighted with our home, which is now a cozy oasis that works cohesively, whether there are two of us, or the extended brood is staying. Over five years and two separate projects, Jasmine and her team have been wonderful to work with. They are great at listening, challenging, incorporating your lifestyle, and developing a palette that suits you and your needs, not just relying on the latest design fad. Communication is easy; Jasmine and the extended team, including the lovely Barbra, are prompt, efficient and understanding, particularly if you are trying to manage these projects while juggling work and family life. They also have fabulous relationships with a preferred builder, who is amazing, and many other artisans who bring a bespoke aspect to the overall finish. We love the outcome Jasmine and JMD have delivered for us and will continue to recommend them to anyone wanting to improve the liveability and ambience of their home.

We have worked with Jasmine McClelland Design twice now, first in our apartment and more recently our house, where Jasmine and her team created beautiful spaces without compromising on functionality. On both occasions Jasmine turned bland, boxy spaces into homes with soul, that are a joy to exist in. Jasmine has created spaces that we have a sense of connection with, that 'just feel right'. Walking in the door always feels good, and at the end of a long day, like home is truly the only place in the world we want to be.The entire process of working with Jasmine is a delight, she makes navigating the daunting world of colours, textures, shapes and finishes fun. She is always there to provide her advice and guidance without any pressure to go down any particular pathway. Jasmine quickly understood our aesthetic and developed beautiful solutions that have resulted in spaces that we love to live in. I approached Jasmine and her team for a Kitchen/Laundry renovation in a small unit, and I couldn't be more impressed with the ideas and designs they came up with in a small area. They made use of every inch of the space which I can imagine was challenging :) I take my hat off to both Jasmine and Scarlet for there hard work and passion for making an area a beautiful place to sit and cook in. My dream was for more bench space less clutter and a breakfast bar and they certainly presented me with what I wanted, I couldn't be more happier :) I love Jasmine's zest and passion for designing even to the point of having the right lighting in an area to make it feel soft and cosy to sit in. We have worked with Jasmine and her team since 2009. Over this time JMD has organised the renovation of our kitchen, bathrooms and living area. They have recommended and organised furniture, carpets, window coverings and paint, both inside and out. Jasmine takes the time to get to know you and your lifestyle and works with this in designing your renovation. The JMD team are always professional and on time in their communication and checking that all is going well. My husband and I had moved to an older beach house which required a complete refresh including colours, kitchen, laundry, bathrooms and living rooms.I was referred to Jasmine by a family member and immediately felt at ease upon meeting her for the first time.After a preliminary consultation with us we engaged Jasmine and our agreed brief was for JMD to draw up detailed plans for our kitchen, laundry, bathrooms and living room cabinetry along with a much needed brief to refresh the exterior painting of our home. JMD prepared and presented the extensively detailed plans for use by our local builder and we knew we could engage JMD further once the building commenced.The team at JMD delivered everything we asked for and more and our favourite aspect of the whole project is the synergy of the beautiful coastal colour palette and textures specified for our home from tiles to handles to cabinetry to carpet and paint colours. It was a joy to work with Jasmine and her team to improve our home and I wouldn’t hesitate to do so again.
