Essential Beauty Karrinyup

DO NOT BUY THERE JEWELLERY! I bought jewellery from here for my belly button piercing. I chose from the sterling silver section and was told it was completely sterling silver. No longer than a month later the 'silver' has rusted in an area thats visible. I went to go ask about it and the lady just told me that it was weird and she was sorry that had happened. I paid $49.99 for sterling silver and it rusted. I expected a refund or at least a swap for better quality. Apparently there was nothing she could do.

My sister got her lashes lifted here and some were curled too far, some not enough and some looked like they hadn’t even been glued down at all they were that straight. They were also all going in different directions and the whole point of getting it done was so they wouldn’t be like that. For $100 this was quite disappointing and we won’t be going back.

I’ve been to various Essential Beauty locations in the past with mixed success, but Hannah at the Karrinyup location is golden. I went to change over my earrings as I had had my seconds done elsewhere several months ago and while that studio did everything right, it turns out I have a titanium sensitivity and the buggers simply wouldn’t heal despite no infection. Hannah checked out my ears and agreed it was odd as they weren’t at all infected, but discussed alternative earring materials and changed them over for me. The original earrings were a bit of a nightmare to get off (I had tried myself and failed) but Hannah tolerated all my “ouch!” and talked me through the whole process to calm me. Her service was brilliant, her product recommendations were clear and knowledgeable, and her overall demeanour was a credit to the business.

My husband and I were walk ins for piercings. Anthony was phenomenal he provided us with a lot of aftercare information. Piercings were quick and easy and he always made sure that we were both comfortable and okay throughout the whole process. When I went to Essential Beauty Karrinyup, I ended up in hospital. The lady, Kerry, pierced my ears (4ths) and they immediately bled really badly but I didn’t think too much of it. After a couple of days they were not healing and just getting more and more painful. I went to my local Geraldton Essential Beauty thinking they might be infected or something but when I showed her my piercings, she was appalled at how badly they were down. Kerry had done it on such an angle that the local lady very strongly encouraged me to take them out as it was not safe and could cause further damage to my ear. She also suggested me to report it to their head office which I did. Essential Beauty Karrinyup offered me a re-pierce when I next went to Perth which I thought was ridiculous that they thought I would trust them again. Finally they offered me a full refund (originally they were only going to refund the pierce and not the jewellery.) That night my whole left side of my face was hurting along with my ear and a severe headache on the left of my head. I ended up in emergency where the doctor had to ply the piercing out. Would not recommend.

I didn’t realise that piercings have extra prices on top of the one listed on the website. Spent over $100 for one helix, and without aftercare spray too. Was given very little information about aftercare. My piercing isn’t healing well, my friend told me they shouldn’t have used a ring as the initial piercing but a stud.

Keira and Teigan are just the most fabulous girls ever!!! We came as a group of 6 to get ear piercings, which to some beauticians would be so overwhelming, but they managed to do us all one after the other, whilst we were all huddled in the tiny room. The girls clearly know what they’re doing, and were so helpful and friendly. Will definitely be back for future piercings

My 3 year daughter wanted her ears pierced I expected her to get nervous and not want do it but the girls working that day were wonderful they were very quick and made it the easiest experience and my daughter left with a smile and happy with her new earrings.

Exceptional customer service and knowledge of after care. Highly recommend. My friend and I felt extremely comfortable the entire time. We had a young man and had confidence in his ability the whole time. Walked away with a septum piercing and belly button, in love with both.

I was so devastated when I was told by angel beauty in carousel that I didn't have the 'right belly button' and that my belly button was not 'anatomically' suitable for a belly piercing. Hannah, from essential beauty, helped me out so much and reassured me about loving my body for how it is and being body positive. She was so professional and friendly. She booked me in right then and pierced my belly button for a chap price too! Hannah is the reason I have boosted my confidence, and the love I have for my body has grown bigger.Keep up the good work Hannah!
