Friendly Grocer Cairns (supermarket)
A well placed grocery store away from the downtown area but very near to all of the holiday apartments along Mcloed Street. It's open until 11pm at night. Yes, it's a bit more expensive but it doesn't have the buying power of the big boys. Very helpful and friendly staff are in attendance. It has a wide range of goods and products.

Prices are way overboard. Pay at least 25-30% more than Woolies or Coles.Only buy your essentials here if you can't get to a Coles or Woolworths..I was shocked, honestly..

Went very late at night and still got what I needed. Extremely convenient when big chains still close early in Australia. The place was in order and had the basics.

Incompetent supervisor not very knowledgeable staff . Out of date product. Shelf stock on special but empty nothing out back asked if could have 6 bottles out of fridge for the shelf price ohhh no cant do that . You lost my $70 + per week
