One of the best zoos ever visited and it is all free. Well maintained and plenty of native animals. Several peacocks roam freely around the zoo. The aviary is also full of colourful birds. The gardens where the zoo is located is also well maintained and has a good collection of local flora. We missed out on the miniature railway it being run only on the first and third Sundays of the month.

AMAZING!!I really only put this on the list to go because we were stopping in wagga wagga anyway and it was free. It's absolutely amazing and even more so because it's absolutely free. The grounds are so beautiful. It would be a glorious place to visit even without the animals. We loved every part of it.

Great for a free attraction. Is more suited for children to get up nice and close with some friendly animals. Few enclosures were empty for maintenance which was dissapointing but can't help that.
