Shoalhaven Animal Shelter & Pound

So grateful to have adopted Mikey and Eliza. They are settling in well. I'm looking forward to seeing their personalities develop.

Great facility & team. It's very clear they care deeply about the animals in their care and finding great homes for all of them.

Was kind enough to catch two rabbits that had been roaming the street the past 2 weeks when I brought them in I was treated as if I was the one dumping them told me not to bring them here when asked what to do next time they didn’t answer me. Just tried to do a good deed incase someone was looking for them or stop them from being killed by street cats. I understand people surrender their rabbits and it’s annoying to have to take them but don’t treat me like that person when I’m trying to be nice enough to take them off the street. So disappointed.

hi just thought i would give you an update on my new little mate (Scout), his name is now Lucky, he settled down after about an hour on the way home, it took 4 hours, when we got home, he went exploring for the rest of the day and he wouldn't let me or my wife out of sight, he ate some dinner, then we took him for a walk about half an hour go home then he played with the new toys i brought, today everywhere i go he fallows i did a bit of work in the back yard he is with me the whole time he is right by my side i can't even go to the toilet now he is just laying around keeping an eye on what i am doing he goes exploring then comes back gets a pat then off he goes. He is going to just beautiful little dog, Take you your help. Dave

Wonderful staff, great adoption process, so thankful that they let us bring Gizmo into our home

We adopted a cat and a kitten from interstate and all of the staff we encountered were very lovely, allowing us to spend time with the cats even though we arrived quite late in the afternoon.Very unfortunately we had to return the cats we adopted within 24 hours due to unexpected severe allergies, and the staff were very patient and accommodating throughout the whole process, staying after hours to help us through with all of the paperwork.We were also quite surprised that all of the cats at Shoalhaven were so incredibly friendly and sweet!Highly recommend this shelter for a cat adoption!

Just letting you know Lou Lou formally know as mo is settling in well, doesn't like it when I fill a whole she has dug and put white pepper over it she looks and walks away, but very mischief though,

If there is one thing I can say I have adopted some beautiful cats there and given them a lovely home to live out there lives and they have given us so much happiness and love.For you people that give their cats away for no reason I dislike you but love what we adopt we are adopting another loving cat to live out his life with love from both me and my lovely wife love the Animal shelter for there work Alan
