Beacon Lighting Macgregor

Very kind staff and great service. I was looking for some replacement of the bulb in the ceiling fans. It was an old one and very hard to find in the current market. They tried their best to do a special order for me and saved money of replacing the whole fan.

Same as some people previously went to the Store on a Sunday. I received very poor customer service. I went there today at 1040 and spoke to a male staff. He was not interested in my questions and appeared to have a lack of knowledge in assisting with decision making of what light should be used in a specific location of the house. When I asked a question, he would only give a very vague answer. He appeared to have a lack of professional knowledge and if you do not want to work and serve the customer, then why do you work there? My wife and I left without hesitation and went to the opposite store - lighting Illusions without hesitation! If I could rate less than one star, I would have done it.

I would like to say thank you to Demi who really went above and beyond for us. We were greeted very pleasantly and Demi came around the store with us giving us great advice and helping us every step of the way. She helped organise install and even personally delivered the items when they came in. This is not the sort of service you get at any of the (several) other lighting stores that we visited, so highly recommended.

Poor customer service. We went thinking the staff could guide us through the options for ceiling fans for our place but the lady in the store was no help at all. Didn't seem to have any clue of what to look out or what we're popular sellers. I would recommend people go to cannon Hill store instead. Much better staff and customer experience at that store.

Pretty poor customer service. Had bought a tonne of stuff from this Macgregor store and knew that if ever I needed to make a warranty claim or exchange anything all my purchase details would be on their files...but today I wanted to make an exchange but was told by the young manager that my purchase records were not on file. I received hardly any actual help to retrieve my details, just vacant stares. So I went to the Cannon Hill store and they had no trouble retrieving my details ..thanks Jenny for help at Cannon Hill.

Went mt gravatt beacon store today, looking for some lights, thats a asian sale lady and ridiculous rude and doesn't intend to helpAsk to show around for some recommendations and she just pointing and ask you to look yourself and doesn't want to leave her counter???

Walked in looking for some advise on fans. Approached by an Asian male wearing a mask and couldn't understand a word he was saying so after looking ourselves for a while and were not approached so we walked out empty handed.

Very helpful, knowledgeable staff. Good display. Didn't feel rushed while looking around.
