Very disappointed service for tenants. Always in favour of the landlord and there was no fair call at all. Also very well racially discriminative service as well. All the tone of the emails were so rude. Don’t ever deal with Jackie one of their agents. She is the worse. Don’t lease these guys properties at all, please stay away.

Had a great experience purchasing our house from Taplin Real Estate! Phil and Lynette were extremely responsive and transparent during the process.

Tom Taplin was hands down the best property manager I have ever worked with. I contacted him regarding an investment property and started working with him 6 months ago, his fees are not the cheapest but you get what you pay for and then some. Truly a standout guy, responds within an hour 7 days a week, will do everything possible to resolve even the slightest issue, and he got the rents up too, so even though there are cheaper managers, he gets me the most possible rent and actually makes me more each week. Treats the property like his own!

I had a bad experience dealing with that agency. The tenants have chucked out and stolen some furniture and maliciously damaged some. The agency could not utilise bond money for replacement and repair, saying the furniture was old and we didn't keep receipts as proof of purchase. They do not know the insurance claim process when there is a need to make a landlord claim. So be prepared to pay your money to fix the damaged things rather than get an insurance refund because the staff don't care and do not follow the procedural rules.Moreover, those people can't even correctly fill out the required government forms. All they want is to do the minimum and get paid. They can't even check the tenant's history properly, ending landlords to deal with unpaid rent and stolen contents. Please stay away from them.

I have been renting a property through Taplins for four years now with Sue Kearney as property manager. I've had the best experience. Sue is beyond professional and caring. Always contactable and was very helpful and compassionate when I lost work due to covid.

Our dealings with Taplin Real Estate have been nothing but amazing. Caroline Bastian and Maddie Hayes have made our search for a new property so easy. Their approach to the whole process was refreshing and their help with getting everything arranged was truly appreciated. Highly recommend these guys!!! Thank you !!

We were obligated to use Taplin for our NRAS rental property and they are absolutely useless. Five months prior to the end of our NRAS incentive, Taplin recommended that we renew our tenancy agreement for a further 12 months. This now means we are at a financial loss for 7 months. When we tried to organise a new tenancy agreement at the end of our NRAS period, Taplin ignored our request and signed a new tenancy agreement starting eight months in the future. When we queried this with Melissa Wilkshire, it took 11 days and two further emails to get a reply. I would not recommend Taplin to any one - they are useless.

In short, like other reviews, we are unhappy about the service we received. The agent was underserving and was extremely rude to tenants. Their self-description on the website is laughable, they absolutely did not care about maintianing a strong relationship between tenants and landlords.In the rest of the review you will see the viloation of consumer rights, bad attitudes and attempt to sabotage relationship between landlords and tenants. I will not recommend this agency to anyone.They will rush you to payments even before sigining their contracts, the worst part is if you paid, you automatically agree to all their terms and conditions. When you enquired to see the contract and sign before paying, they will treat you like trash. We are talking about consumer rights here, yet they expect you to make uninformed decisions, and expect you to pay you before reading through their agreements. I have already escalted this to relevant authorities.As for small requests, they will just stall it as long as possible without taking actions. etc... your aircon is not being fixed during summer. For most of the requests they just outright says no without giving any explainations. Surely they can refuse, but at very least they can talk to others like a person instead of treating them like an enemy or worse than that. On multiple occasions, the agent was unprofessional (e.g. assuming males moving in together must be couple) has a bad attitude and will speak to you like scolding a kid (e.g. 'I am very unhappy about etc..' )they haven't even tried to understand the situation, they just assumed that you did something horrible. Communicating with them is an effort, they will make you feel like you are a beggar, but ironically, you are paying them.They also misrepresented the landlord, they pictures the landlord as someone that's absoultely horrible to deal with. When you asked them if they have spoken to the landlord about your request, they will say 'they refused' every time. Makes you really doubt if they actually did anything to connect the tenants and landlords. So we went around them and spoke to the landlord directly, to our surprise, the landlord was very different from the person they made you into believing.They should truly reflect on the following statement they wrote about themselves on their website '...make it their first priority to build and maintain strong relationships with their owners and tenants...' I understand that there are many horrible tenants, landlords out there, but they simply should treat every landlord and tenants as their enemy.

Just bought my first home in Glenelg north with Lynette & Phil and what a wonderful experience ! Highly Recomend them for all your property needs!
