The Drawing Rooms of Berry

One of the best places my family and I have stayed at. The lodge has high ceilings with a mezzanine to give you a fantastic view in the morning. Mostly well maintained - one cabinet door was broken but excusable. Very clean and well supplied. Had everything we needed and more. Forgot a few items at home and they had it there! Staff were very curtious and friendly as they helped us bring our luggage to the lodge - the road to the lodge was being repaired. Great location, friendly staff, good communication, lovely lodge and well supplied. We would come back again!

We stayed at the lyrebird lodge for Christmas. Loved it. This place is tucked away at Woodhill mountain, short drive to the Berry town centre. Perfect place for a family vacation.

Had a wonderful stay at the property. Was super beautiful, close to Berry and they had some added extra's like a premium coffee machine, breakfast cereal selection and a bottle of wine that made our stay great

Highly recommend! There was a landslide just before the entrance to the property, the owners kept us informed prior to our arrival. They were always responsive and lovely to deal with. Due the the landslide, we were not able to park at the property, our cars were parked outside meaning we had to walk about 500m downhill to get to the property. The owners offered to help transport our belongings on arrival and departure, which was a really lovely gesture. The lodges are beautiful, clean and well kept. It has everything you need for a nice relaxing stay. Our kids wanted to stay forever! We will be back for sure.

Can’t beat the location if your looking to get away from the city for the weekend. So close yet so far from Sydney. Wouldn’t definitely recommend if your looking to unwind, relax and settle in with the wilderness. We stayed in the rainforest lodge , it was private , warm and great views of the mountain to wake up to.Thanks for hosting Nick and team ✌️

The Drawing Rooms of Berry was excellent! It’s a stunning location with beautifully appointed lodges and thoughtful, responsive hosts. The grounds and tree top views are stunning and serene. I’m so glad to have found this gem and will absolutely be back in future.

This is at least 5 times we have stayed at this stunning property. It never disappoints. Comfortable Lodge nestled in the trees, this time we stayed at the Lyrebird Lodge. The bed was super comfortable, spa inviting & coffee machine made the best coffee! Walked around the beautifully manicured grounds & no doubt, this would have to be one of the best properties in Berry. Thank you Nick for your all help & organizing the cheese platter & chocolate covered strawberries for us. We shall return! Thank you so much.

Beautiful lodge in a tranquil setting. Very clean and private. Careful thought has gone into providing everything you might need. Fully self contained, cosy and inviting. Once you are here there is no need to leave again although Berry township is a short drive for extra supplies. We stocked up on food from the local IGA plus there was a supply of fresh milk and cereal in the lodge with a welcome bottle of wine which was a lovely touch. Breakfast and lunch were enjoyed on the verandah, afternoon snoozes on the comfy couches inside, followed by wine and conversation outside and star gazing at night. Very beautiful. We can’t wait to stay here again. Thank you especially to Nick for his fantastic hospitality.

We stayed as three adults and a baby in the Lyrebird Lodge and cannot thank Nick, Lisette, Michael and a Hannah enough for their generous hospitality during our visit.We were blown away with how beautiful the property is, and how modern and clean the villas are. The little touches like coffee and milk, and luxury bathroom products made the stay 5 star. They had everything we needed for our baby which saved us bringing things like a portacot from home.We loved the roaming robo mower (who we nicknamed Hank) and also loved seeing all the wildlife around the property, including kangaroos, bunnies and ducks. It was the perfect place to wake up on our son’s first birthday.We talked the whole time about how wonderful it would be to bring our extended family back and book out the property. We will definitely be back!:

The property is stunning.Several cottages/lodges that are all private on the grounds.Stayed in the Wattamolla Lodge - beautiful inside and out. Very comfy king beds, good size living and dining area, well equipped kitchen, BBQ on the back verandeh. The coffee machine was fantastic and stocked with good coffee. 1L of milk in the fridge, lovely bottle of local wine waiting for us :)Woke up to mist outside and kangaroos around - such gorgeous joeys!Easy to use facilities - heater furnace thing you just flip a switch on the wall, the bathrooms have wall heaters that were so toasty, main bathroom has a very nice spa.We only stayed 2 nights, I can definitely see myself coming back again for hopefully a longer stay.It's very close to Berry, the landslip that stops you getting on to the property from the Berry side wasn't a particular problem - Michael picked us up with our bags and shuttled us to the lodge, and again when we were leaving. Otherwise we just walked to the car/back - only about 500m and a very easy and pretty walk. You can drive on to the property if you come via Kangaroo Valley but we didn't really consider doing that as it was not a problem.Perfect for the girl's weekend, or a romantic one, or just a great little getaway at a luxurious retreat.
