Great value meals especially if you are a member. ($15)Open Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday for dinner.Wine bottles very affordable too.Tempus two $20!

Balmain Bowling Club
We had a joint 60th Birthday at the club - it was an outstanding event (it's also a very cool vibe type place for a meal and a drink, barefoot bowls and live music). The event was superbly managed by the GM (Andrew) and his really capable and cool staff. The new caterers (Ueli and Shelly) did an outstanding job on the food - fresh, brilliantly presented and tasty, served by really engaging and friendly staff.

Just joined this club and there are a great group of people here to play a game of bowls with. The club house has recently reopened and the food is seriously well priced for a good meal. Come down and have a look. Heaps of fun to be had here.

Balmain Bowling Club
Balmain bowling club is an old and established club with a good bar but not much interesting bowling games. A couple of teams were playing bowling on its huge ground. Don't think it's a place of attraction. Just a good place for locals to hang out.

I’m a Balmain local and avoid this place at all costs. I’ve been here several times in the past and all equally as terrible. Lazy bar staff who would rather joke around and chat amongst themselves instead of serving customers. Have stood in like for 15 minutes waiting for a drink only to leave as they had only served 3-4 people within that time.Save yourself the hassle and avoid this place. There is a friendly pub down the road called East Village that has better drinks, friendlier service and much quicker service time.

Balmain Bowling Club
The new Crack a Jack Bistro is fantastic. We had an event for forty people and the food and wine, service and atmosphere was great - especially for the kids who were able to play outdoors. Everyone had a great time and complimented the restaurant and bar service. It's great to have something like this for events and even just to have a lazy Sunday lunch or work lunch. Laura and Nick are so experienced and deserve credit for a job well done bringing the bowling club back to a place locals can enjoy great food and an open outdoor setting.

Cute City club with green outlook. Other than bowls not many other leisure facilities. The beer is cheap, the bistro food is value for money and barefoot bowls is populay with family groups on weekends. Worth a visit.

The club is really great to have fun with team. You need minimum 4 people to enjoy the bowling. I had very bad experience with food there. Few of my team members and I had ordered vegan food but we got chicken in that which was really disappointing.

Balmain Bowling Club
Baron with dry ginger ale and lime helped bring out my inner bowler. With some help from the super friendly locals, we were bowling up a storm. Staff were great and helped get us bowling in no time!
