Leader Computers

i purchased a leader tab 11w at the start of february and it was the worst decision i made.when i got it home i found that the micro sd card reader was faulty and not recognised under windows.i went on a one and a half hour round trip to drop it off to a leader outlet as there were no devices left where i bought it.when it eventually came back at the end of last week it worked for all of ten minutes, froze then stopped working all together.on contacting the warranties department i was emailed shipping documents and told to book in to get the device to be sent to adelaide.on booking the pick up i was virtually asked to be home all day to wait for pick up,but gave a time frame instead that i was available. the device is still waiting to be picked up ;so tomorrow i am taking it back to the shop i bought it from and demand a full refund. consequently i will NOT be buying any technology from leader computers now or in future .they are not worth the hassles and i would not recommend them to any one either after this

I have partnered with Leader Systems now for 5 years after working with other distributors I felt lost in the crowd.Leader offer genuine advice, quality service and being a family business have the core vales that make you a customer for life.We've been able to simply our purchasing down to using Leader exclusively and it has been an absolute pleasure working with their team.

Do not buy a Leader computer! Follow your gut instinct and get a well-known brand. The reasons why you might be considering a Leader can all be debunked. First, you want to support an Australian company: it's made of parts from other computer companies outside of Australia. Secondly, a small company is supposed to equal better customer service: totally incorrect. If you were to call a bigger company about an issue with a new computer, what is their first instinct? PROTECT THE NAME OF THEIR BRAND AND NOT WASTE MONEY/TIME! Bigger companies will usually automatically give you a new computer, or even a refund, and maybe some goodies to keep you happy. From personal experience, Leader will continue to waste your time and their resources trying to fix a problem that cannot be fixed. After a month of them 'playing with my new computer' trying to fix the problems I was having, I asked how they were going to compensate me: all they could say was: 'I'm sorry, I can't help you'. Clearly. They're warranty department/ customer service are also really good at dodging calls if they know you are unsatisfied customer. Lastly, you might want a cheaper computer, but remember with a cheaper a price you get cheaper quality and it's not that much of a price difference so just splurge!STAY AWAY FROM THIS BRAND, they do not care about the way their customers perceive them and, weirdly, a bigger brand will.

Edit: after some early issues with the device, my partner has managed to get a refund. I've updated to 4 stars.

Poor experience and service. Signed up our business to move to a Telstra NBN plan. Over a period of 6-weeks, this has been a DISASTER to our business, promises made none delivered in all aspects, technical, support, service, functionality, billing and more, too many to list, one after another – Telstra themselves (Leaders business partner), can be held responsible for some of these disasters. Some Leader support has now been forthcoming since posting this review (now edited - October 2019), but Leader being a ‘business partner’ with Telstra seems to hold very little clout and really not much help! Many issues still remain unresolved and we are still awaiting final outcomes. As a result, we have lost business causing us undue pressure, stress, time and money to business.

Excellent service Excellent range, I have been purchasing off them for months now and I have never had a problem. Their staff have been great and informative and a special thanks goes to Woody the main man. From a Business perspective, I don`t see any problems here, maybe consumers expect to much.ThanksJM

Charlatans who masquerade as Telstra employees, who only reveal that they are a third party when questioned further about the name on a paperwork.Canceled a business NBN order without authorization, can’t be trusted.

Terrible customer service. Grumpy unhelpful staff, except for 1 person who was helpful but then hasn’t gotten back to us to resolve the issue. I have never left a bad review and am not a mean person but I almost feel like there’s no point in calling as I get anxious. Seriously simple issues for staff when there is a tracking number but first 2 staff wouldn’t even check and all they do is handball, customer service out the door. Seriously people running this company need to train your staff with basic things. It’s that bad you should take names of your staff and individually hold them accountable for rudeness and neglect, they seem as if they cannot cope with their jobs. In my 50 years on this planet I’ve never ended up hanging up on anybody out of sheer frustration.they do not listen or follow through

It's always great working with the team from Leader. The guys are always super helpful and responsive to all my enquiries and requests for information. Recently did some product training with the team and it too was extremely valuable.
