Golden Lake Chinese Restaurant
We discovered this restaurant a little over year ago after spending years trying to find a great Chinese in the area and always being disappointed. This one definitely did not disappoint! We've been regularly ordering since and have never once gotten a meal we weren't 100% satisfied with. Their Satay and Mongolian are both some of the best we have had and are usually the the hardest to find well made. Always fresh and on time & their lunch packs are great value for money! Highly recommend, both for dine in & take out!

ordered take awayFried dim sims( not cooked pink inside way to much BATTER)honey King prawns(again to much batter )& special fried rice(burnt smokey taste)Previously orderedcombination omelettenot all egg???Inner layers BATTER or DOEThought give restraunt another go?eat Chinese food once a weekalways like to support local businesses.This is one restraunt I will not be returning to in future.maybe a change of chef /cookmay help?just a suggestion

food's not very affordable but it's very good being a top choice if not on a budget the Mongolian beef is to die for and definitely an easy pick for me along with the good Honey chicken despite the fact it's texture is less chicken more the inside of a wet nappy.

Golden Lake has the best Chinese on the north of the central coast….the prawn cutlets are perfect as well as satay chicken & king prawns & cashews (favourites for us) always delivered fresh & hot ….highly recommend ….do yourself a favour & enjoy

We have ordered from Golden lake on numerous occasions and always been happy but tonight the beef in both dishes was so dry I am sure it was from a previous day, we only ate it cause we were hungry but we will go elsewhere next time
