Had a day surgery at Wonthaggi hospital. Excellent care right from Megan who did the admissions to Dr Jodi Keane who performed the procedure and the anaesthetist (forget his name sorry ) and Trish and Lucy who took care of me post op. I’m sure there were others but everyone was kind, professional and I was well looked after . Thank you to the beautiful staff at Wonthaggi hospital!!

Had gout attack. Drop in the medical center at 10.30am and just waiting waiting forever waitinggg till 1.55pm. More than 3.5 hours wait ( to even get a simple gout medicine prescription or injection). Left without being seen by the doctor or any treatment. Still in Extreme pain and Very frustrated. Hopefully a doctor elsewhere can provide medical help. However the nurses are wonderful and very kind.

About 3 weeks ago I was taken to the Wonthaggi hospital with kidney stones, dehydration, low blood pressure and an infection which I didn't know I had. The staff in emergency were very caring and went beyond there duty of care to make sure I was taken care of. Thank you Bass Coast hospital, emergency department.

I would like to thank the doctors and nurses in the ED on Saturday afternoon/night 26 February 2023. They were wonderful. They performed many tests and examinations to get to the crux of the problem. The only names I remember are Nurse Kirby and Paul from Radiology. They were great. Karen Stanford

If I could give a zero rating, I would! They are rude, cold, and obnoxious! If they see people in order of seriousness, I am a category one patient with a terminal illness and last time attending was left to vomit bile for 3 hours before being given anything for pain! One doctor sat on his chair and didn’t move for 40 minutes, while he was on his mobile phone, meanwhile, there was a room full of patients waiting to be attended to! If they only knew he was doing nothing while we all waited. They get paid a fortune to do NOTHING there! I should know, after being tortured there maybe times! That was the last time!

Attentive, caring & professional.The care I received from Dr. Ronald was exceptional, he went over and above and I want to thank you to all the amazing staff, nurses and doctors for the care I received.I don't wish return anytime soon but if I do, I will be content in knowing what a wonderful hospital Wonthaggi has and the lovely staff too.

Thank you to the ED staff , under extreme pressure today everyone I came into contact with was professional and reassuring. To Dr Molly and the consultant on duty thanks for checking everything you both went the extra mile for me. Congratulations to the Wonthaggi emergency department your population grows every holiday season but your staff doesn’t and yet the standard of care remains high.

If I could give 0 stars I would.Misdiagnosed on 2 very serious admissions to ED.. and staff non descript.State of the art hospital needs state of the art staff.Disappointing.

Just had a child at wonthaggi hospital. The entire maternity unit just made my life and delivery journey so easy and comfortable. I never knew this could be such an inspiring journey. Thank you team. Thank you entire ward for saving me and my child's lives. ❤️❤️❤️ can't thank you enough.
