Tallebudgera Creek
Location is beautiful!! Had such a good time with the family. Water was nice and cold too. Reminds me of the rock pools in Samoa. Only downfall would be the directions given by Maps. I found that it was easier to for directions to the surf club located next to the creek.

Fantastic swimming location on the Gold Coast! Amazing views with beautiful water and good for all ages!Parking on sight is very limited on a busy day and you can setup on the beach on either side of the creek.“Jonique Life”Follow our journey around Australia on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube as we highlight wonderful experiences and magical places you can add to your ever growing bucket list.

Just be sure to put Tullebudgera Creek Beach. Otherwise you end up inland near the Creek in a Court with houses and nowhere near beach. Parking packed. Great place once you're here.

Safe place for kids. Google map wasn't getting us to the right spot. First get to the beach and walk past around the rocks to get to the creek. Enjoy.

This has been our place to go to enjoy the beach experience without worrying about drowning and our kid loves it too.

I started from Central Station with a Translink goCard.Central station - Varsity Lakes - Burleigh Heads - walk the hill 1.8 km to reach Tallebudgera Creek. There is another short way from Burleigh Heads but was closed due to rock fall. The Boulder rocks on the hill sometimes fall is what I understood by speaking to some people around. But that long walk on hill is worth the experience!Crystal clear water. Fishing. A place to be, with family. There is a river that joins Ocean at Tallebudgera Creek. Place where water meets is scary! Walk by beach sand and suddenly realise the water is deep and sands are pushing towards depth.Sands at that point are as slant as any roads in Brisbane. It just slips towards depth and it is running water.Coolest thing is when the Ocean water recedes. I had my bags packed by 3:40 PM and suddenly Ocean water receeded. Only the cold river water now - a wonderful sight there. Unzip bag prepare to jump in the water - who knows when I will be there again at Talebudgera, moreover visiting Australia is a rare opportunity. There are other beaches too in GoldCoast like Surfer's paradise and BurleighHeads but Tallebudgera is an experience worth exploring.

All time favorite beach to take my son . Perfect spot for a swim or play. Beautiful, clear water And lots of space. Close to cafes e.g. Custard Canteen. Can get very busy on warmer days, we always arrive early on weekdays to avoid this.

The perfect place to enjoy a day out on the waters edge. Tallebudgera Creek offers something for everyone, boating, fishing, swimming, kayaking, sup or simply enjoying the shady parklands and sea breeze. Put this on your list of places to visit on on the beautiful Gold Coast. It’s a brilliant venue for family fun. Photo kim.borg_ozwidephotography
