Bilpin Country Lodge
Our family had a lovely stay here. We were thankful that we had the whole lodge to ourselves. We met Mike briefly before he left but he was very kind and made sure that we had everything we needed before leaving. Mike also shared that he tries not to mix families during the current covid times, which was very considerate and wise. We thoroughly enjoyed feeding the animals, the games room (which had a huge trampoline), starting our own fireplace and simply the whole lodge itself which was beautiful. There was a fully functional kitchen with breakfast food provided, hot water for showering, heater and basically everything we needed. We even had farm fresh eggs from the chickens for breakfast! Wish we had more time to enjoy the activities here. Definitely a great experience for city dwellers like us. Hope to come back again in the future!

As it happened we were the only guests there, so we had the whole lodge to ourselves, cooked up a storm and played at the pool table. My toddler loved the farm animals. There is very little visible service though. They call it a bed and breakfast, but they supply the bacon eggs sausages bread cereal etc etc, and you cook it yourselves. Some might not like that. We didn't mind it at all. (Bring your own oil, condiments, spices and good knives.)Also, bring your own shower gel and shampoo etc. they only supply basic soap.

Amazing lodge. We went there with 4 other families and it was so self sufficient. The kids loved the open space, feeding the farm animals, playing in the playground, trampoline and spa. The adults had plenty to do with the basketball ring, table tennis and pool table. Plenty of fridge space and an industrial BBQ, what more can you ask for! We practically stayed at the lodge the whole time and didn't need to venture out. Would definitely recommend this to anyone with young or older kids.

Bilpin Country Lodge is a very peaceful and serene place for all ages who wants a to get away from the busy city life. The lodge is spacious and clean! There are pony, goats, alpaca, and a bunch of chickens. My son enjoyed feeding them and picking freshly laid eggs.I highly recommend this place and will patronise here again in future!

Spacious, immaculately maintained and very well-appointed lodge and grounds. Loved the cosy fireplace. Thoughtful touches include a Nespresso machine, variety of breakfast cereals, eggs/bread/bacon/milk. Plenty of fun activities to do on site: farm animals, camp-fire pit, yabby catching, large games room. Mike and his team are so friendly and helpful. Perfect getaway for a few nights - highly recommended!

Fabulous place for families...we visited in Nov 2018. So so clean and great bbq facility. Enjoyed all the farm animals but didn't get to meet the resident snake. When we stayed the signage outside said Bilpin Springs Lodge" which got us thinking that we were at the wrong place. Hope you've updated it! Hope to be back again!"

We loved our stay at Bilpin Country Lodge. It was our first trip away with our two kids under two and were lucky enough to have the lodge to ourselves. We visited on a Monday and Tuesday and though many of the sites around Bilpin were shut, there was more than enough things for us to do around the lodge. Highlights were the playground, indoor play area and the animals. The included breakfast was a great addition and Mick was an amazing wealth of knowledge. We are already looking forward to visiting again in the future :)

Family of 4 (2 adults, 11yr old and 13yr old) stayed for 2 nights at this lovely B&B. Activities are endless - kids being farmers for the next 2 days, collecting chicken eggs, campfire, indoor sports like table pool, basketball, trampoline and table tennis. The self-help breakfast pantry was a huge variety! We totally enjoyed cooking the freshly laid farm eggs, pancake mix and the best hot chocolate ever. Among the 7 accommodations we stayed during this 12-day trip in sydney, we all unanimously rated bilpin country lodge as our favourite. Thanks Mike for the wonderful hosting. Great memories from this stay.
