I couldn't wait to write this review, it's long but worthwhile. I am beyond impressed with Stephen and his impeccable service.I called How Sweet It Is a mere 6 days prior to my mum's 50th birthday, as I had an order with another bakery who were too busy for me, and in turn I had to find a new baker - and fast. I came across How Sweet It Is by Googling a wedding bakers in Adelaide and was delighted to see on their website the cake shape/design I was after for the birthday cake.I promptly called explaining my situation and why I had such a short timeframe and Stephen told me he was 'committed' to my order, and ensured me he'd have it ready for the following Monday.A few email exchanges here & there and by Sunday night, Stephen's gone and emailed me he can DELIVER the cake to me on a MONDAY when he's closed and you bet he was at my doorstep exactly on time when he said he would be with the most perfect cake, exactly as I envisioned, in his hands. I tipped 25 extra dollars to the quote (VERY AFFORDABLE MIND YOU. WOW.) for the incredible and friendly service.My mum was in awe at the cake and we sat down tonight to eat. After leaving it out of the fridge for approx 10 hours it was the most perfect texture, dense and flavourful - I ordered the Chocolate/Kahlua flavour and you really can't go wrong here. It was perfectly balanced and the fondant was beautiful. It was almost too gorgeous to eat, but so delicious and decadent. Like a movie cake.Thank you so very much How Sweet It Is for being the cherry on top of my mum's 50th birthday and giving us something so amazing to remember the day by. Your service, kindness, and commitment to me with a short lead time only to deliver top notch results is something I will share with everyone. I will 100% be coming to you guys for my future cake orders. Now, to get through all the flavours!

Thank you Stephen for providing such a beautiful cake for my November wedding. It looked exactly as I wanted it and tasted delicious too! The White chocolate - Baileys and Almond was so popular with our guests that everyone sat down to eat their cake! Stephen was easy to communicate with and was an easy wedding vendor to work with. We would definitely recommend Stephen to other couples for their wedding.

I can't rate Stephen and the team at How Sweet it Is" high enough for the cake he provided for our wedding. My wife had said she had never had a good tasting wedding cake and I was determined to make the cake on our wedding day one for her to remember. We are based in the USA and Stephen was super accommodating with responding to all the questions via email since we couldn't be there in person and he was super easy to deal with. He was more than happy to make our wish of a 4 layer cake with a different flavour per tier come to fruition. He not only gave out samples to my sister in our absence

Stephen did a marvellous job and produced a cake with such intricate details that our son got mesmerised. With just couple of calls, Stephen understood our requirement and the whole process of ordering the cake with ‘How sweet it is’ was contactless and effortless.09/22- Zoo cake - Another great job done by Stephen and team. Caramel Vanilla cake was perfectly moist and delicious.09/21 - Rainbow Cake - in just a week’s time Stephen and his team delivered an amazing cake.09/20- Octonauts cake - The difficult job of copying the figurines was done perfectly. Our son didn’t just eat the cake but also played with the figurines for quiet some time. We don’t think we will be going anywhere else for customised cakes in the future. Thanks Stephen and team for making our son’s birthday so memorable.

The owner was really helpful and gave us a great direction for where we wanted to go with our cake. Very reasonable pricing and explained everything to us about costs plus what we could get. Definitely worth a stop in to talk with him as well as to try the amazing flavours he has to offer.
