Always find staff bit rude, not sure if something to do with my colour. Somehow expensive as compare to city dump. I do try to avoid this place or if I have to go I just keep ignore everyone. Would be nice just talk nicely please...

Rip off. Over estimate. Got charged a full station wagon full of general waste when all i had was on old clothes line and a few loose items.

Way overpriced for what I had to recycle, ended up paying $30 for 7 flattened out carboard boxes and a boxful of polystyrene. I'm not even sure the polystyrene will be recycled as I was directed to put them next to that wall with the other plastics" (where there was all sorts of stuff other than plastics). Next time the red bin will be cheaper and at least I don't have to drive all the way and pay $30 for something I'm not even sure it'll be recycled.Plus had to wear a mask when some staff didn't. Disappointing."

Staff are friendly and helpful. Price seems reasonable, especially compared to getting rubbish picked up.Would take a trailer load of Oh God Why Is This In My Shed again.

I had some car batteries, oil containers, lots of paint tins and a couple of car tyres to get rid of. They charged me $25 per tyre but all the other things were free to dump. EFTPOS is available and I was shown where to put everything.

It’s been easy every time I’ve been. We’ve used it for their free disposal of paints/chemicals and e-waste items. You can check the City of West Torrens website for info on quantities and specific items.I also saw that City of West Torrens residents get a free voucher to dispose of 6x4 trailer load of waste each financial year! Great if you live in that council area.

Public holiday .22 /09/2022At 11.30 am this day checked web site for North Plympton confirms solo waste Open now and until 4.pmWith that knowledge i hired a trailer locally and drove 25 kilometres to Plympton to pick up 3/4 trailer of green waste rubbish , at nearby Plympton and proceeded 2 kilometres to Solo waste North Plympton depot arriving approximately at 3.08 pm. Boom gate not functioning. Tooted horn in hope to alerted attention, no response 3minutes later about leave car and trailer to alert attention at office as 2 large Solo waste trucks pulled up behind me and blasted their horns continually either at me or for the boom gates to be open. Eventually an attendant emerged from office - opening exit boom gate to allow. Solo trucks entrance and was about to retreat to office ( it seemed ignoring me) .I then from a distance of about 25 metres called out to the attendant asking why the entrance boom gate was not working. He advised closed at 3 pm. I queried this to him still at distance why and alerted him that web site says 4 pm. His response that only on today " I asked information wasn't changed for today. His response "Why would we change it for just one day!" and retreaded to the office. No sorry
