Stayed at Trilby for 5 days.Absolutely gorgeous camp sites. We had unpowered site right on the Darling River.Sites are spacious and well spaced out, with towering River Gums in between. Total privacy. The drop loos, spaced around the place, are very nice ... no doors ... so you sit and gaze at the wilderness. The free canoes are brilliant. Casual paddles around the very large billabong. Waterbirds galore, including pelicans.Hot showers and washing machines for coin. Good camp kitchen with all facilities.Lots to do, including their Farm Tour. Drive around the property guided by a mud map. It's an active sheep station, and you receive a 10 page booklet telling you all about the history and the fantastic, friendly hosts.A real family friendly community.A MUST stay if you're on the Darling Run.

Great place to spend a few days. The self-drive station tour is well documented. It took us longer than anticipated because we had a really good look around and didn't rush. The facilities were good and clean.Liz was great to deal with.

My husband and I had an amazing time at Trilby Station. We stayed two nights. Di was amazing. Plenty to do on the property. I loved the Billabong. Great photo opportunities. Thank you.

I have to say first that I’m a total fan of the Station Stays, and it doesn’t matter where they are, as they are all unique in there own way. This one, Trilby Station has so many different changes of landscape, and this is what I love about the outback. From the moment we pulled up at the homestead you felt at home. Di & Dave who are the caretakers as the owners were on holidays made you feel very welcome and nothing was to much trouble so we chatted for a while about the property. There are heaps of camp sights on offer to choose from along the banks of the Darling River and whilst camped here you can’t help but get the feeling of how how dry it is here at the present. But don’t despair, there is still some water here. There are some drop toilets along the camping area, As well as good fire pits at each camp site. For showers, and a flushing toilet it’s just a short drive back to adjacent the homestead to find them. You couldn’t get mobile reception at camp, that didn’t bother us, you have reception in the homestead area. We camped here for 2 nights. Oh, there are a couple of powered sites near the homestead. We grabbed the mud map for the self drive around some of the paddocks on the property, with some interesting points along the way. New Chum Homestead, still with relics inside of what used to be is one of these. When your on a property of 320,000 acres you get to see some changes in the landscape..... from the long flood plains with endless blue horizons to the red sandy dunes & rocky ridges, this station stay in my opinion doesn’t disappoint. There is something for everyone here, and it’s just waiting for you to explore.Thank you so much, Di & Dave and to Garry & Liz you have a very beautiful place here.

We loved our stay at Trilby and Liz was a wonderful host. We loved the seclusion and the sites along the Darling River. Awesome exclusive firepit to each site, Loved that we could collect our own firewood and wonder around the station buildings.Trilby is quite isolated so best you are well stocked for your stay, there is drinking water up closer to the house but no local general stores. We sat on the river each sundown enjoying the bird life, just stunning! Have recommended Trilby Station to all our friends!

Loved our 4 night stay here, nothing disappointed us. Had a large site on the river’s edge with both sun and shade options. All amenities were in excellent condition and spotlessly clean. Mud Map drive around the farm was very interesting as was the farm tour at nearby Dunlop Station. Thanks to Liz and Trilby Station team, we’ll definitely be back!

Had a terrific stay here. Campsite was right on the river. Sites are well spread out and large. You feel like your here on your own. Fireplace had firewood ready to go. Shared toilet between two sites, a short walk away. Interesting buildings to visit on the station and you can go kayaking on the lake.

Great outback sheep station with accommodation & camping options. The owner Liz will give you a tour of the new shearing shed & a fantastic history lesson of the farm & the area.

7 trips to Trilby now and we’ll keep coming back. One of the best stations for a great bush camp experience with a few luxuries up the road. Plenty of activities and Liz is a great host!
