I have two kids that go here. Its a wonderful place. My children feel as though this is their second family. We love the team, they are very approachable and friendly and always willing to help.

My son began at this centre just before his first birthday and has been attending for more than 18 months. We initially chose it for the large, open and bright nursery that we felt would provide him with a great space while he was still young and less mobile.12 months ago I would have given this centre a lower rating. As mentioned by one of the other reviewers, there have been a lot of fluctuations in staff, with a regular turn over in centre directors. This meant that it was sometimes hard for our son to establish good connections with educators and for the parents to feel confident that the centre was being managed effectively. There were also a number of incidents linked to specific staff that caused us concern, but our (and others') complaints were taken seriously and these people are no longer at the centre.Thankfully things seem to have stabilised over the last 6 months and the vast majority of the staff are wonderful, engaging and caring people who want to see the children thrive. The new centre director seems committed to stay and has been instigating a regular program of reviews and improvements that I think are starting to show benefits.A strong focus on play-based learning means that our son enjoys his days and is continuing to build strong social connections and skills. He absolutely loves the messy play that they do with him (and I'm not willing to do at home!) and although we still have some difficult drop-offs where he just wants to stay with mummy and daddy, the staff work with us to find effective ways to settle him in without too many tears. The fact that he's never really keen to come home tells me that he's pretty happy, and as long as things keep heading in the right direction, I will be happy for our son to remain at Princeton St.

This centre has been excellent for both my kids (3 and 1 year old) who attend on a full time basis. My 3 year old has been attending for a couple of years now and raves DAILY about his educators and the experience there. In spite of a brief period where there was increased staff turnover (but that has stabilised now), he still thrives and enjoys his time there. I'm always able to drop off both kids with a peace of mind knowing they'll be in great hands and nurturing environment. This is definitely a much better centre in comparison to a previous daycare that I had sent my eldest to. I would like to shout out a MASSIVE THANK YOU AND GREAT WORK to all the amazing staff members at Goodstart Kenmore Princeton Street! Kudos to the Felicity (the centre director) for her tireless and incredible leadership!

After 2 years at the Centre assuming that our child had behavioural issues as they had told us, we moved him on to a local community Centre where he has flourished. This place has monumental staff turnover with even 3 Centre directors resigning in the two years let alone the constant turnover of apparent educators who are essentially either kids or new Australians. His last visit was recent where we had left him to visit occasionally and on pick up realized how much of a zoo it actually was. Sadly we also are close to 3 other families who have had similar experiences and moved their children on. At best it is babysitting with outrageous child to carer ratios. For proof in the pudding, review the government rating certificate online or in their reception which confirms they meet the minimum standard and nothing more in any category rated. Review the government rating before choosing a Centre. They have damaged our experience with our first child. Mind you, there are 3 food people working there and I do apologize to them. I do not apologize to the Goodstart business, quote business, not child education Centre. Quite angry.

I absolutely love this place for my son!It has become so welcoming and when I walk in there I get a warm feeling inside me. My son has had some really great experiences in the nursery and toddler rooms with the amazing Educators in the centre. This centre has changed for the better and even the room layouts are amazing!

The most caring and approachable staff! As a full time single parent, this centre has been my biggest support. The admin staff are delightful to talk to and extremely helpful, and the educators are professional, inclusive and have wonderful relationships with the kids. Watching your son run off into the play area without a second thought (or goodbye!) instills a level of peace only a mother can understand!

We used this centre for over 2 years. Our son was 6 months to 2.5 years. We left because the quality of care dropped so low it was very concerning. (My turning point was watching 3 toddlers in a mud pit unsupervised in a back corner for over 5 minutes with inches of water. Totally covered in mud at 4.45pm. No one was watching them, checking on them etc. apart from that ... Who has kids in a mud pit in early August at pick up time?) The centre, although has a handful of amazing staff, can not retain a centre manager and has a VERY high turnover of staff. Every day drop off was a nightmare because you never knew who was going to be on to greet the kids. and towards the end I didn't even know who the staff were. How is that possible? Our son would come home absolutely filthy, often with food all over his clothes, pen drawn all over him, his face, arms, hair even. He was always starving at pickup, I would have snacks for him on arrival. Honestly we thought this was normal - kids get dirty and hungry right? Creativity is good". We thought the problem was us. Two months ago we moved to a new centre. The quality of care we noticed even within an hour was paramount. We felt so
