Great blokes to deal with, I got a new reel today and some other stuff. Shane even put the new line on the reel for me and showed me a new knot I didn't know. Can't wait to get my stuff in the water.

Picked up squiding recently and popped in to have a look at potentially upgrading my rod. Was stoked to find the exact Emeraldas combo I was considering on sale and promptly snapped it up.During the process, I was introduced to Manny, the resident squid expert. Manny basically gave me a crash course on Squiding and helped me pick out the most appropriate reel size / rod length within the combo for my needs. Thereafter, he talked me through the various braid / leader options and what to look out for, with zero pressure on getting me to buy either from them. During our chat I mentioned that I currently run a double-uni knot as I struggle to do a proper FG and Manny was very generous to offer to teach me how, which I greatly appreciated.Overall, really happy that I dropped by to take a look as it really opened my eyes to the huge step-up in service, knowledge, and product variety as compared to the big box stores. Hence, I would highly recommend this store for any of your fishing needs.Also, alot of great deals instore weren't listed online, so be sure to give them a buzz or pop in to have a look if you don't see what you are after online.

My 14 year old kids are starting to get interested in fishing. We bought their rods elsewhere but have been to CA Ringwood three times for hooks, lures etc. The three different staff members who have served us have all been amazing. They are so good at sharing advice for young teens from places to go, knots, which are the best lures to tie etc. Brilliant service!
