Bought a queen size mattress with extra padding. Got it for 1500 which seemed reasonable. It is a very good mattress. They delivered it and took away the old one. Will buy from them next time.

Great customer service. Bought a gold King size about 8 years ago and started getting indentations. No issues with warranty and got mattress back in 2 days with new foam. If I ever get another mattress, will definitely be from gallaghans.

I LOVE my mattress. It was tailored to meet my current and future needs...one side very firm, the second firm. All the staff from showroom to delivery were friendly, knowledgeable, obliging and nothing was too much trouble, even delaying the delivery by a few months because my build hadn't completed on time.I have had my mattress for 3 glorious months, and it is sheer bliss.One recommendation I would make to future purchasers is to pay a little extra to have 'handles' added to the mattress...it makes turning or flipping much easier.

I went into Galligans on Sunday and was greeted by Kathryn who delivered exceptional customer service from start to finish.I entered the store and she was warm and friendly, and asked a little about what I was looking for. I explained that I was hoping for an adequate mattress that wasn't going to break the bank - I didn't have an explicitly stated budget, but I knew I'd know my limit when I got to it. She showed me some mattresses, let me sit/lie on them, gave me time to try them out. I felt that Kathryn was really respectful as she knew budget was a factor in my decision and very gracefully navigated suggesting higher budgets, and yet clearly picked up on when I was reaching my budget limit without my budget being explicitly stated.She made me up some leaflets of the mattreses I'd tried out, and I left to go look at another mattress store where the customer service and mattresses were entirely acceptable but ultimately, the service I received from Kathryn at Galligans tipped the balance. I made the purchase shortly after getting home and my mattress has just arrived now, the Wednesday after I placed the order.Kathryn fielded my questions about delivery, trial periods, and was exceedingly patient and gracious.The delivery process was smooth. I was advised to call on the morning of delivery to find out my delivery slot - 9:30, the mattress arrived at 9:40 and the two people who delivered it brought it in, unpackaged it, placed it on the bedframe and took away the rubbish. They were polite and pleasant.Would buy a mattress from Galligans again, only I don't expect to have to.
