Partner tipped me off about this place - a little gem, an oasis in a world devoid of bookshops. So, I found a rare gem, only wish they had more of what I need for research. A good local alternative to Abe's and you can actually avoid Aus Post and pick them up. Excellent service, highly respectful, courteous, and efficient. A must in Adelaide!

Really pleased with first experience!Item arrive in padded box, then brown paper wrapped. I was a bit nervous about how old the set would be (as I keep all my books immaculate) , but its like new!

Terrific trader. Not only did they have in stock a fairly rare vintage book that I was after, but they had it at a reasonable price. The book was dispatched quickly, it arrived quickly, postage costs were reasonable and it was beautifully and securely wrapped and packed. Communication A+ also. Great to be able to support an independent outfit. Highly recommended.

I have bought books off Adelaide Booksellers on numerous occasions and have always been more than happy with both their books and their service.I have always found the owners very pleasant and courteous to do business with and have also had very good dealings with them which is mainly over the phone as I live in Sydney.All of the books I have bought off them have always been of very good quality and in first class condition.I will continue to buy books off Adelaide Booksellers and certainly wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone wanting a good bookseller to purchase books off.

Lovely bookshop with relaxing ambient music while you browse. But after walking all the way there after getting off a plane from Perth and spending $60 on books the owner wouldn't allow us to use his bathroom! FINDING a public toilet in a new city is no easy task!--And I don't think I'll ever go back there!
