Advanced Vetcare

I have just brought my little girl Mouse (Calico cat) home after a harrowing, emotional weekend following a severe case of diarrhoea and vomiting. It got to a very dangerous state involving dehydration and blood loss. Thanks to the wonderful people at Advance Vetcare she is currently curled up on a chair in the loungeroom (I seriously wondered if this would happen again). Apart from their knowledge and professionalism, their attitude, both to me and Mouse could not have been better. It's not a job, they really do care. You do need to be aware that this is not your average vet, but a 24 hour emergency service, but they make sure you are fully aware of all costs up front so you can make any decisions needed prior to commitment. I can't recommend and thank Advanced Vetcare enough.

Dr Phil was very helpful in assisting with my chihuahua's first delivery. Thanks again for giving us back a healthy mumma and the most beautiful little man ever :)

After a Boxing Day surprise with 2 dogs and 3 blocks of chocolate, a rapid trip to AV was as comforting an experience as possible in the circumstances.The reception staff were amazing, first on the phone and then on arrival. We were kept informed at every step of the way by reception and the vet, and were out with slightly slimmer dogs within an hour.Thank you to all the staff!

I had a good experience with AVC. My little staffy was vomiting and disinterested in food, so I took her for an emergency consultation on Sunday afternoon.The wait to be seen by the vet was not particularly long, around an hour or so. Dr Taylah took the time to listen about the current problems, and also understand a bit about Buffy's history as she has had a few gastro-intestinal issues this year.They took her in for immediate x-rays and checked her in as in-patient to get her on an IV drip. They did some more tests over the next day before doing surgery to fix the problem.The level of communication was good, I usually received an update on Buffy's condition every 6-12 hours.I picked her up last night and she is so happy to be back home and seems to be recovering well. She is slowly getting her mojo back.The bill was expensive, but AVC were good with providing indicative costs before I would agree with treatment. I guess their overheads are not dissimilar to a hospital but they are not getting a cent from Medicare to offset the costs for the patient.Many thanks to Dr Taylah, Dr Amy, Dr William, Dr Warren and the rest of the team at AVC. I would definitely recommend them, and I would take Buffy back their again (but I hope I never have to!)

Whilst our beautiful Keeley is no longer with us, the team at AVC were exceptional and compassionate. I cannot fault them at all. A very big thank you to Dr Phil who gave us every option to save our girl and who was with me when it was time to say goodbye when no more could be done. Her passing was devastating, but he (and another young man, I’m sorry I didn’t catch his name) treated her so respectfully and we are very grateful. The beautiful card we received in the mail shortly after was also much appreciated. The pet cremation service you use, Eden Hills were amazing also. Sharing a photo of Keeley at her happiest as you never got to see her like this!

We had to say goodbye to our cat last night (20/1/23). This clinic couldn't be faulted and made the incredibly difficult experience as easy as they could for us.We had received a critical diagnosis from our local vet toward the end of their business day. He wasn't in pain so we took him home and called Advanced Vet Care to let them know we were on the way.When we got there, they saw us straight away and they had a room set up for us. The vet Taylor (along with all the other staff we encountered) was incredibly compassionate, kind and patient. Taylor knew this was my first experience of this process so she made extra bit of effort to give me kind words. She lit a candle, played soothing music and gave us as much time as we needed to cuddle him and say our goodbyes. We were also given as much as time as we needed after he fell asleep to spend time with him privately.Thanks Advanced Vetcare for helping us through this experience. I'm so grateful. Wanting to pass my thanks to the staff we were with on 20/1/23, it must be hard to work in an emergency environment so your efforts are appreciated.Very glad we chose this clinic as my old boy's last trip to the vet.

We are so impressed with the care and diagnostic skills of vet, Sarah, who saw our 4 year old Kelpie recently with some non specific symptoms and new onset collapse after mild exercise. Sarah was so thorough and personable and thought to test our dog for Addison's Disease, which she has subsequently been formally diagnosed with. Thank you so much to Sarah and the whole Team, as the whole experience was excellent

My baby took her last breath's here. The staff were so compassionate, gave us a lot of time to say goodbye, explained every single option to us and gave us lots of opportunites to consider all available options. In the 13 years my Weimy walked this earth never found a vet that seemed to care more for the pet than making $$$, but (unfortunately) at the very end, Advanced Vetcare actually cared more about the health of my dog. When the time comes to welcome another fur baby, even though it will take me an hour to get here on public transport, these guys will be the one and only vet for them. Thank you Camilla
