Had an exceptional experience with Gadget Hospital today. Very impressed with the service and price

I'm very impressed with the service from the Gadget Hospital. I thought getting my broken iPhone screen would be a big drama. I tried apple and the wait was so long am expensive. The gadget Hospital are fast and the price is the best on the Gold coast for Apple iPhone screen repairs.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. I posted my old iPhone 5 for sale on gumtree and he answered to buy it. I took the phone in (with a broken screen) and they kept it to check. They replaced the screen and annoyingly my actual phone (7+) bugged out the same week and so I took back my old one (5) and they kept my (7+)I went back to return the (5) and sell to him and collect my (7) and he tells me he no longer wanted to buy it as he had one in stock and I owed him for the new screen.I said I never asked for the screen to be replaced and actually had a line of people eager to buy it I had turned away because I live 1 minute from Stocklands so had ended up there. In any face I WAS NOT PAYING TO REPLACE A SCREEN ON A PHONE I NEVER AUTHOURISED TO BE REPLACED OR WANTED.Now this afternoon after he agreed to put my old cracked screen back and just call the deal off I arrive and his equally rude minion tried to say I broke their screen on the (5) anyway. I DID NOT. It was in a case and so perhaps they did or I actually could not even see a crack and was there with my 12 month old baby so was not in a position to really argue with him. The picture is my phone and the condition they have just given it back to me. BEYOND ABSOLUTELY USELESS AND FRANKLY THEY HAVE STOLEN A SCREEN AND THIS PHONE IS FOR THE BIN. He is a common thief and I will be reporting this to the Ombudsman 100%. DODGY, STANDOVER, THIEVES****UPDATE*****PLEASE. YOUR RESPONSE IS AS RUDE AS YOUR POOR BUSINESS ETHIC AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. YOU ALSO ACTUALLY HAD THE IPHONE 5 BACK IN YOUR POSESSION FOR AT LEAST A FORTNIGHT TOO. I EVEN CAME IN ONCE BEFORE TO COLLECT AND YOU NEVER MENTIONED THE CRACKED SCREEN? IT WAS NOT UNTIL YESTERDAY THAT WAS EVEN MENTIONED. IF IT WAS IM SURE YOU WOULD HAVE SAID THAT ON THE OCCASION PREVIOUSLY? PERHAPS YOU NEED TO CHECK WITH YOUR STAFF OR EVEN YOU AS YOU LIED ABOUT ME THROWING IT DOWN AT SOME POINT EVER IN MY DEALINGS WITH YOU. EVERY TIME I HAVE COME TO YOUR STALL I HAVE HAD MY 12 MONTH OLD BABY WITH ME. NOT ONCE UNTIL YESTERDAY WAS THERE ANYTHING BUT COURTEOUS DEALINGS BETWEEN US AND I CERTAINLY HAVE NEVER THROWN SOMETHING AT YOU. HOWEVER YOU HAD NO PROBLEMS DISGUSTINGLY CLAIMING I HAD YESTERDAY. ACTUALLY JUST LIKE ONE TIME WHERE IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS YOU CLAIMED YOU!!?? HAD BEEN DOING ME A FAVOR? WHEN AS I SAID YESTERDAY THE ONLY REASON I HAD EVER EVEN COME TO YOUR stall WAS BECAUSE YOU ANSWERED MY AD ON GUMTREE TO BUY. BUT YOU LIED IN FRONT OF YOUR CUSTOMERS THAT DAY AND BELITTLED ME THEN. LYING SEEMS TO BE A CULTURE IN YOUR stall AND AGAIN ANYONE READING THIS DOCTOR GADGET IS THE WORST PHONE REPAIR, ACTUALLY BUSINESS OPERATING I HAVE HAD DEALINGS WITH IF NOT EVER DEFINITELY IN AS LONG AS I CAN REMEMBER. MY IPHONE HAD A SCREEN (IRRELEVANT IF BROKEN) AND A BATTERY AND WAS SEALD AND TOGETHER.NOT THIS 1/2 PHONE IN PIECES YOU HAVE RETURNED IT TO ME LIKE.SORRY MATE. I AM REPORTING YOU TO THE OMBUDSMAN AS I SAID.

Ipad 6 replacement screen. Had to be taken back immediately as screen did not work correctly. Then lasted 4 months before failure again. Contacted them, advised that repair only has 3 month warranty. This time, I purchased my own touch screen to replace myself as not wishing to keep spending $130 bucks every few months. Upon opening device noticed that ALL connector retention screws had not been re-installed from previous repair resulting in connector coming loose. Dodgy x 100 workmanship.Replying to owners reply. Think you are missing the point. Its not about getting a refund making things better. Its about letting people know what I experienced, time and other money I wasted due to poor quality workmanship/QA. If as you stated, new employees and processes are being used, then hopefully I will have helped some people not have the same issues as I did, in the future. For me, this is greater compensation.

Well done Gadget hospital. The young chap did an outstanding job fixing my broken Samsung. What I liked was that he turned up on time in a big ambulance. Was dressed professional and very friendly. Very trusting fellow who also put a battery in below cost. I hope not to call again but happy to call if required

Had iPhone screen replaced, it was really dark & pay wave didn't work, told to go home and up date the software. Did this, then half the screen was covered in lines (worse outcome). I wouldn't waste your time or money. Happened with a previous phone as well, but i gave them the benefit of the doubt thinking my other iPhone was old.

The price was far cheaper than all the other quotes I received and I had to leave my phone with them.Whereas Peter actually came out to my house to fix my broken iphone11 pro screen.Peter was absolutely amazing!!!! Not only did he fix my phone in no more than 15min it was with good quality glass he fixed it with. (Not like my other experiences with other phone fixing companies where they fix the screen with cheap thin glass and it breaks as soon as you slightly drop it)Long story short I never write reviews but felt the need to because Peter was that amazing and my experience and service was worth the effort to write this.Happy customer,Erin P that lives at Mermaid Waters

It took me over a month been waiting for my phone to be fixed. The first time the guy told me it takes around a week to fix, and he needs to order some part from Sydney. I understand it has to take time waiting for it. Then it's over the day that he told me it would be done. so during that time I was keeping ask them if my phone is fixed, they always answer me it would be done in a couple of days, and one of the guys who also promise my phone would be fixed in a couple of days. After a week I'm still waiting....The end I'm sick of been telling me my phone gonna be fixed soon, so I went back to pick up my phone, and he said he tried to fix but the phone doesn't turn on still, you can take it back!I'm really angry with them its because if you need more time to fix you can let me know, I can understand, but DO NOT keep telling your customers that your phone will be done in a couple of days if it's NOT!!!eventually, my phone has not been fixed.And I got my phone is opened without the screws? So I have to go back again to get it!!!!!

Thank you Gadget Hospital for fixing my daughter broken iPhone. After being quoted over $200 my friend said to call the gadget place. A quick appointment and her phone was working again. Surprised it only cost $45 for a new battery. A very honest company who did not overcharge us.
