Have been patients of Dr Daniel Chalmers for many years now. He is a very good GP.The practice does not bulk bill for adults but will for children on weekdays only.Dr Lucinda Lee and Dr Kathy Beale are also part of the practice.

My family has been coming here for many years now. Even though we no longer live in the area, we still go there because it's really hard to find caring and thorough GPs like Drs Chalmers, Acton and Beale. Finding a good doctor is like finding a good mechanic, you always go to them.

Great doctors, particularly Sue A but they a kind of stuck in the dark ages. You can't bulk bill adults and when you pay pray they don't get a fax as you will have to wait 10 min until it goes through! PAINFUL but I will be back!

We have been thrilled with the care provided by Annandale Family Doctors, especially Sue Acton. Reception staff have always been friendly, kind and considerate. I especially like the way they interact with my children. The rooms are a little tired, but the care has been wonderful and that is what actually counts.

Appointment was booked more than a week ahead for a 3 months old baby, the clinic called twice to confirm the appointment and I confirmed that we will attend. On the day of the appointment the clinic called and said they are cancelling my appointment because they are too busy. I didn't even get to respond as the receptionist Karen hung up the phone straight away.Unreliable clinic.

This is a really good doctor's surgery if you live nearby. We live over the road so it's perfect. The doctors are caring and helpful and will fit you in at late notice if you really need it. Also they have a really good follow up if they have sent you to a specialist. I would definitely recommend them.

Easily the most unprofessional, disorganised, and triggering experiences I’ve had at a practice.Firstly, the practice is a dump. The whole place looks like it’s decorated by scouring the council clean-ups as it’s just a cluster of random furniture, none of which looks maintained or even that clean. The bathroom is also an absolute disgrace, I mean seriously - have some pride in your business, it’s not a flat share. As for the actual appointment, I went in for a very specific purpose, one of which was clearly outlined by a specialist and faxed to them earlier in the week in preparation. I checked that this was received when they called to confirm the appointment. The doctor, Marcus Tjiong, was nearly half an hour late. It was the first appointment of the day...Then, upon hearing the very specific reasons for being there preceded to explain that what I was asking for didn’t exist anymore nor had it for a year or more (despite a specialist literally sending him the details only days prior). Half an hour In to a needlessly long appointment, he realised he was wrong and then had to call another doctor and Medicare to figure out what to do. This would have been fine if he hadn’t been so condescending and sure of himself until that point. But what really made me angry was the complete lack of tact in discussing mental health. The letter from my specialist provided all the information a GP would need to know, and while some discussion was necessary, the questions being asked of me were unexpected and worst of all - very triggering. This is completely unacceptable. There are specialists in mental health for a reason - you, as a GP, are not one of those specialists and whatever training you did on how to speak to someone with mental health issues is antiquated and damaging - that’s assuming you’ve done training at all.Unsurprisingly by this point, it turns out he hadn’t bothered to read the letter my specialist had sent, and only mentioned this well into the appointment (after I had mentioned it multiple times). Once he read that, he had to learn how to complete the treatment plan that was requested. Yes, it turns out the specialist knew what they were talking about, fancy that?!Marcus, your understanding of mental health and how to talk about is disturbingly poor. I feel so sorry for anyone that has the unfortunate experience of being In your consulting rooms because they need help. You are absolutely not equipped to provide it and you should be ashamed of your arrogance in approaching the situation.Doctors like you are the reason people suffering from mental illness hate going to GP’s and why they feel the system is a barrier to getting better. If anyone is considering going here - Just don’t.If you’re suffering from mental health issues and need someone to speak to, or a GP to refer you, DO NOT GO HERE. Review beyondblue or the black dog institute or any other mental health focused site that has reputable connections to GPs that work with mental health specialists instead of pretending to be one themselves.I obviously won’t be returning, and sure maybe my experience was an anomaly, but given the state of the practice, the disorganised nature of the doctor and the receptionist, and the insanely high price for the visit, you can, and should, choose somewhere else.

I was booked in to see Dr Medynski for 9am- the first appointment of the day. I arrived a few minutes early and was told by the receptionist that she was likely looking for a park and would be here shortly.I waited and waited...At 9:30 the receptionist got ahold of the Doctor on the phone who relayed to me that she had forgotten she was on duty that day and could be there in 15 minutes. This is despite what is written on the website that she works every Saturday and a poster in the waiting room her working hours. The receptionist was lovely and very apologetic however this did not seem to be a once off incident of Dr Medynski.I left very disappointed. Will not be returning.

Daniel and his team have been caring for the people of Annandale for over 30 years and continue to give first class service to all its patients and their families. Would 100% recommend.
