The Summit Cafe and Function Centre
After the hiking Mt Lofty and being exhausted. Being able to sit down in a neat air conditioning cafe that provides good coffee and a decent breakfast.The view of Adelaide is well worth the visit and the cafe is just cherry on the cake.Btw And U can buy some souvenirs if U so feel inclined too.

Happy with this breakfast burger, hash browns in there, soft bun, but the surprise for me was how fragrant the truffle egg was - that was a win for me.As a burger it could have done with just one more salad element (or a bit more spinach), but since it’s a breakfast burger I’ll let that pass.

What a lovely place for lunch! The view is pretty amazing and lunch in the cafe on a cold winters day is a perfect place to be. The food was really yummy, service was good and the atmosphere was relaxed and easy. Parking was easy at the summit, a short stroll to the cafe and view. Remember to pay the parking meter. It is a good idea to reserve a table ahead for the busier days. Definitely come again :)

I went to Hahndorf yesterday with my kids to have lunch and see the Autumn leaves. After trying to get into a cafe I was told it was a 30 minute wait for a table and 90 minutes on food so we decided on elsewhere.We turned up at the Summit to take our chances the cafe was pumping however I spoke with one of the staff and they managed to find me a table for the 5 of us without a booking!The lovely lady advised me to order at the counter however there would be about a 30 to 45 minute wait on food. I was so grateful to get a seat the wait certainly didn't bother us at all.When the food came out it looked great and certainly tasted delicious ( no complaints from any of us!)I don't usually write reviews however yesterday I was so surprised with the service and quality of food in a busy cafe we will certainly be back!

Organised a surprise birthday party in December. Tony and his team were absolutely flawless in their organisation, communication and execution of every aspect of the function. The food packages were fantastic very fresh and plenty to go around. The bar staff were great. The whole experience was great and will be back for sure. Highly recommended.

This is one of the best restaurants I've been to so far. The food was so delicious and has a great view of the city.The food for its price is very worth it because it is served in large quantities. I highly suggest you get Summer Salad. It's the highlight of our lunch!We booked in advanced and they were kind enough to adjust it a bit when we went there. The waiters are very friendly and accommodating.There's a $4.00 flat rate parking fee, but really worth it for the good food and the great view!
