Evans Head Fishing Charters

The best day fishing ever! 78 fish between 10 of us and we still kept catching them and then releasing. Whales pirouetting in front of us, I would have paid money just to see that! Highly recommended.

First time on a fishing charter. It was the best 6 hours!! Simon was fantastic and full of knowledge. I will be definitely returning!Thanks for the great experience!!

Had a great day. Took my 8yo son and 11 & 13yo nephews. Simmon the skipper was excellent across the board. Ensure the young ones had a great day with lots of Snapper/Squire etc and a big mulloway. Simon even helped us clean our haul of fish after. Thanks Katrina and Simmon!

Another awesome charter this year. Simon is a magician - found us great fish every day. Nothing was a problem for him. Great skipper.

Had a brilliant day out with Captain Simon, we caught plenty of fish with a good variety,Simon went to a lot of trouble to ensure we were getting bites, and moved us when things went quiet. Looking forward to our next trip.

Been on twice and first one with Mick (owner) was great. Went the other day and it wasn't much to rave on about,2 pinkies, handful of trag and 2 flatties between 9.Not many fish about, which I understand happens but not many moves to look for them on different ground, total of 3 moves all day. Not sure if I'd go again as you cant pick the others that go on it with you. Had a group of guys drinking heavily, playing loud music, jumping off the fly bridge in the open ocean and heading back to harbour. Skipper couldn't do much to control them as you cannot reason with drunk people. Pretty disappointing as we waited a while to head down and get onboard. I recommend limiting drinks or black listing people that act up as it affects everyone on board that pay good money to go along.

After a bit of a mix up with numbers the crew got it sorted quickly and came back to pick us up. We were given a hefty discount for the inconvenience and we had a great day fishing with heaps of Snapper and trag caught. The crew fixed any tangles promptly and kept all lines in the water. We were visited by whales and got some brilliant photos. We didn't catch anything really huge but there were some pretty big snapper caught on the boat. Anyway that's fishing. We would do it again any time.
