Cradle Mountain Summit
The views are stunning from the top! The rock scramble is rather treacherous to get up. Going down was easier than up. I would not attempt if it is wet. You have full 360 views and can see everything!

Cradle Mountain Summit
A great hike with a little bit of climbing. Be sure to wear good hiking boots and take your time. Sections are steep and there can be loose rocks. The final climb to the summit is a little challenging, but well worth it for the view.

Cradle Mountain Summit
This is a challenging climb, mainly because it involves rock scrambling and actual elements of free climbing in parts. You don’t need climbing equipment but you do need to be prepared to pull and lower your body weight to get up and down the mountain.I attempted it in the rain which makes it more challenging, because the rocks are slippery when dry let alone wet.I hear the views are magnificent when the weathers good! Just be aware the weather can change at a moments notice

Climbing to the top is definitely not for the faint-hearted. Follow the guide posts on the way up. A bit of rock scrambling involved. Coming down felt easier. Had gorgeous weather and apparently day before, it had rained, so it wouldn't have been safe to climb and possibly not great visibility. Go when it's good weather.

A spectacular experience on a clear day. The rock scramble requires a good level of physical fitness and a head for heights, but provided these requirements are met it's a fun and challenging climb to the top. The way is well posted and the popularity of the park meant that there was plenty of company. The face of the mountain is rugged and impressive. The views from the top are a welcome reward for your effort. I had a great time and would recommend it to you.

Cradle Mountain Summit
Beautiful views and well-maintained tracks. I was there 10 Aug. The track beyond Marions Lookout was covered by snow and ice. Wish I was better equipped.*Park pass required*Bus pickup from the tourist centre to Dove Lake* Duration 7 hrs or more

Cradle Mountain Summit
An astonishing experience and a must-see for all adventurous types. Make sure you are in reasonably good shape before embarking on this hike, there are some sections involving chain rope climbs and rock scrambles as you approach the summit. My friend and I completed the Ronny Creek - Marion's Lookout - Cradle Summit - Hansons Peak - Dove Lake Circuit yesterday and were treated to near-perfect hiking conditions.

Cradle Mountain Summit
Spectacular views and the hike itself is very exciting and beautiful scenery along the whole track.I have the summit hike in March and in September. Both times of the year offer quite different experience. The last 200 or so meters is very steep boulder hopping often on all fours with very exposed rocks. It can be a bit challenging if you're not so comfortable of heights. However, the effort is well worth it and very rewarding!Easily one of the best summit hikes in whole of Australia.
