Yesterday I was meant to have an appointment that I scheduled the day before, when I arrived I went to the reception to check in and they both looked at me stunned to tell me that the doctor went home and there was a mistake with the booking, now mistakes happen but when I Asked if I could see someone else both reception staff turned on me and started trying to blame me saying aggressively that I need to produce a negative covid test anyway with smug look, so I promptly showed them the negative test I done in the car. Then she sneered at me even harder and told me to sit and wait , I asked how long it should take and she snapped at me again and said as long as it takes! Obviously this mistake was not my fault I was there on time with my negative covid test and yes mistakes happened but the way she got aggravated at me for their mistake when I was very understanding I just wanted clarification on how long it should take.I’ve been a patient here since what has to be the late 90s and every time I have to talk to or organise with the receptionists in the last few years it’s always a hassle and they are always rude. Something needs to be done as I see I’m not the only one, I will never return to the clinic after this experience.And I didn’t end up getting to see a GP because after an hour I seen they weren’t trying to honour my appointment or even be nice or respectful.

I had a telephone appointment with dr awad as I believed I had food poisoning & told him the symptoms I was experiencing & requested a medical certificate. Even though I know from experience what I needed to do when this kind of sickness happens, he didn’t even give me any feed back on what I should do, how to help fix my stomach pain, what to eat etc. all he said was yep sending through the doc certificate now to your email and then hung up. Usually they will explain how to help & ways to prevent going back & forth from the bathroom yet I received no kind of help.

Our family has been coming to Sydenham medical/Hillside medical for over 20 years. All the doctors, nurses and staff are highly professional and do their best to make sure everyone is looked after. Our family doctor, Dr Nabil Boules is the most caring and professional doctor and he is always helpful and reassuring, he goes above and beyond. He works tirelessly looking after his patients. Thank you Dr Boules.

Made an appointment for my son received confirmation that appointment was made, my son turned up to appointment and was told rudely that no appointment was made and that they couldn’t fit him in. Seriously a joke. Rang them when my son got home and was told to screenshot confirmation and put in a letter to office manager. How is that helpful? Seriously incompetent to say the least. Very unhappy and disappointed.

My family and I have been seeing Dr Boules for 27 years and I couldn't have a bad word to say about this doctor, he is caring doesn't rush you, he listens and will call you when you need him to.He diagnosed my sons gal bladder issue told us to take him straight to hospital they did scans and told us appendix but when he went in for surgery the surgeon came out and said we needed to agree to remove his gal bladder not appendix. Now scans show it all Dr Boules diagnosed from his pain and symptoms i could not have any bad words to say other than a brilliant doctor this is just one of his examples there have been many more and yes he is hard to see but good doctors are always booked out that's why people rush to see him.we had a brilliant doctor he was family but he was too far from where we lived and Dr Boules has made us feel as did our past doctor so it was an easy change.yes receptionist could be a bit more hospitable but i can imagine how people could treat them too so its not just them also waiting time i would rather wait and be treated properly than a doctor who gets as many patients in a day than caring about their patients.great clinic wouldn't change our doctor for anything.

My experience with this clinic was horrible after being a long time patient.I got spoken and treated very bad .I rang to make an appointment . Not only she was so rude that she did not explain herself properly.. how can you treat your patient like this .I definitely won't be going there again and I do not recommend this clinic to anyone

Thank you to Dr Jacoup for telling me my sore throat was from a vocal cord strain and nothing to worry about! I actually had COVID <3 due to his lack of care I managed to spread it to my elderly father! Thanks Dr" Jacoup what a strange vocal cord strain that develops into covid wow! (I give 2 stars because the other doctors are pretty good)."

If I can give this place a zero I would! Absolutely disgraceful clinic with the most incompetent doctors and reception staff working here. Not sure how and where some of these doctors got their qualifications from and reception staff clearly need to go to reception school for some basics in customer service.Jacoup is the worst of the lot. He seriously should be banned from practising! From his awful professional manner, to his aggressiveness towards patients and worst of all mis diagnosing serious symptoms. He simply does not know what he is doing! Having a certificate on the wall from God knows where does not make you a Doctor!Seriously this place displays all forms of negligence, I would strongly recommend you do not go here if you value yours and your family’s health.
