Great day outing with the family and great for younger kids. Easy to walk around even with a 3 year old in a stroller in the gardens. Price was $98 for a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 children. Shame the rides were not open as it wasn't school holidays.

I have photographed heap of weddings at the Hunter Valley Gardens and it is a really good place to have a wedding and to do wedding photos. There are a few locations to choose from for your wedding ceremony, from the waterfall location, the lake location, oriental garden or even the wedding chapel. And there is a huge variety of gardens to choose from for your wedding photos. You can easily walk around the corner and get a completely different look to your photos. They make it really easy to get beautiful photos.

Over the weekend, my family and I had the pleasure of exploring the gardens together, and let me tell you, it was an absolutely breathtaking experience! Everywhere we turned, there was beauty to behold. The sheer abundance of sights to see was truly remarkable.I can't even begin to describe the joy and amazement on my son's face as he took in the stunning surroundings.

Even in winter, the best gardens I have ever been too! Would have been great to go on a weekend when the food stalls and rides where operational. Still beautiful!

Wonderful gardens, great for kids too. Well kept and very photogenic. Have been told by locals that it gets VERY busy on weekends and public holidays, particularly in the good seasons. Do wear decent footwear as some of the paths can be a little rough.

I wouldn't waste my time and money here. The gardens are nice, nothing to special, kind of remind you of every park out there. A lot of spots in the grass are dead" which is weird given its suppose to be kept and maintain. The themed areas (Chinese

Although I thought the entry price was a bit steep, I really wanted some inspiration for my garden, and figured looking at these local gardens would help.I stopped worrying about the cost around the time I found the waterfall, and then the lake, and then sat for ages in the pergola just watching the fish and trees. Bliss! On a misty winter morning, at 9:30am, I had the place practically to myself. The serenity was spoiled by the music being piped over speakers in areas near the rides/attractions. I don’t know why it was necessary to have random music at 10am when none of the attractions were operational, but it made some areas less attractive to sit in and just enjoy nature.I assume some gardens would be even more amazing in Spring/summer, but other than the Border Garden and Storybook garden, I really enjoyed all the gardens even in early winter. It would probably be a very different experience with kids and the attractions, but I was there to enjoy looking at plants, and I loved it.

The shops were lovely. The food was great. Didn't go into the gardens as it was to expensive. The EV charging point is fine during the day but could do with a few more lights at night.

First time visiting in May - different flowers autumn vibe. A relaxing day, to the team there keep up with the hard effort of meticulous planting! A must to visit!

Being winter the gardens weren't a spectacle but we can imagine how stunning it'd be in any other season. There are quite a few uneven pathways which could be problematic for older folk. There were certainly lots of workers in the gardens
