First time for me. Good coffee.

Five stars for the shop, friendly and welcoming, stock is fabulous. Bare minium for the cafe. It was was dire - honestly honey, mid thirities and still waiting tables doesn't put you in a position to look so very far down on the punters. We waited 15 mins to have our order taken before giving up. Watched several other tables politely and repeatedly being ignored by waitstaff. Several large tables were empty and there were four staff visible, so unlikely it was overwork. Average score worked out at a two.

Good product with class objects and good friendly staff if considering an upgrade in classy furniture well worth a visit

Nice atmosphere and really friendly staffBLT was delicious, generous filling and lots of sauce, the chips (wedges) seemed they were taken out a little too soon so some of the inside was hard, the sauce was amazing and the drinks were really good

Service was impeccable, got served straight away. Menu was well explained and the food to follow was amazing. Came out in a timely manner and every flavour was spot on. Highly recommended.

Looks impressive but the Cafe service so poor. We sat down outside for coffee and brunch after being told it was table service. Eventually, I had to go inside and ask for service. The waitress came out without a smile or friendly hello. AWFUL. Didn't offer water. We asked for 2 minutes to look at the menu.10 mins later the waitress hadn't returned so, disappointed, we went inside to order over the counterThe food was fantastic but the Kitchen staff are heavily let down by the wait staff at this Cafe, unfortunately for them.After we ate, we decided to order a pot of tea to finish, and given it was meant to be table service, we waited......... and waited....... for a waitress to appear outside. One eventually appeared to serve another table, so we waited.for her to take their order and then we called out to order a pot of tea. She looked right through us and went back inside. We decided to leave.We had dined at Gateway Hotel Restaurant in Wangaratta the night before and were really impressed by the schmick quality and presentation of the wait staff there.Really impressive and obviously great training by the owners. REES AND Rees Cafe staff could learn a lot from them.

Great cafe & meals alongside a well stocked and thought through lifestyle retail area. Well done, great ambience and feel with great home products in a great building.ps. the photo on this site is old - not representative of current.

Was up from Melbourne visting, was looking forward to trying what looked like a lovely Cafe from the outside. We walked in and was greeted by a really rude & arrogant staff member. It left a bad impression that we just politely left, after being told there was nowhere else in town that is as good as them.We went to another Cafe and they were brilliant, they treated our family with kindness and professionalism. We had a lovely lunch and we tipped the staff.
