Coastal Staircases always deliver top quality finished products on time and at a reasonable value. We used them to create our restaurant dining tables, bar benches and they were finished beautifully and joined to perfection. Would recommend to any customer looking to get some timber work done!

Coastal Staircases are unprofessional and provide poor workmanship on their products. When we submitted a complaint about their product, they told us we were wrong and they wouldn't fix the issue. We had to go to Consumer Affairs who, in the end, resolved the matter (i.e., the company eventually installed a handrail that was of sufficient standard and installed correctly).It is worth noting that Coastal Staircases put you through quite an extensive quotation process where they expect you to pay for their product up-front and before installation. When asked why, their response was that they have been burnt too many times previously". In other words

We were very impressed with the service and information that we received when we first called into the factory/showroom in Moolap. Tiffiny was super helpful in talking us through our options and what might be the best look for us. Once we had decided on the style and materials we wanted, we waited until we were at the stage of our renovation when we could ask the team to come out and measure. The nice young man that came to the house was helpful and friendly. We were also impressed that he discussed options with our builder so that we would achieve the best look.Finally we were at the stage when the stairs could go in. The boys that came out to start the work were on time, friendly and were on the ball. There wasn't any fuss or bother, they got on with the job and managed to crack a joke or two. We felt really comfortable that the boys were doing the best job!We are only halfway through the install (we have to wait for the painter to finish) but the team at Coastal have organised a date for when they will come back and finish!To be honest we didn't shop around as we were happy with the price that we paid for the stairs that we wanted. It was nice not to have to negotiate " and quibble over price.Coastal have been liaising with our builder and he is really happy with the smooth communication. Emails are promptly answered phone calls are returned. It's been easy!Our stairs are going to look really good and we are really happy.In summary

I ordered a ply staircase for my shed. It arrived assembled and was easy to install myself. Great service, quick turnaround, reasonably priced.

We could not be happier with our staircase renovation, it has transformed our early 80's outdated staircase into a modern clean line staircase, everyone at Coastal were fantastic to deal with, highly recommend them!
