From the moment I stepped foot inside Peter Shearer's Murray Street, Gawler store, I was greeted by a clean, bright and well presented store. I was also greeted by an equally well presented Customer Service Assistant, Marty.Now I haven't purchased a suit in a long time so I was in unfamiliar territory. Marty helped guide me through the massive selection of suits, asking me all the right questions like colour, style, budget and occasion. By this stage I felt very comfortable and the process had transitioned from a store purchase to a retail experience.Soon I was introduced to Zelah, the store manager who commenced pinning the alterations needed. Between Marty and Zelah, they were able to accommodate my needs and helped with styling options, tips and addressing my magnitude of questions.I ended up purchasing 3 suits, all of which I am so happy with, and in styles that I would not have even dreamt of buying beforehand.Now I don't know if there is a real Mr. Peter Shearer or not, but if there is....Zelah and Marty are the team you need to facilitate in-house training, assist in marketing and even advising purchasing on what works.I have honestly not experience customer service of this level in decades. Old fashioned service with young minds, ideas and enthusiasm. The perfect blend.Thank you Marty and Zelah. You made shopping a genuinely pleasurable experience. 10 stars out of 5!

Cannot rate this store high enough. My daughter wanted a fancy bow tie and shirt to wear with her suit for graduation. They were so helpful and fun. Highly recommend

I’m just writing to relay my recent experience I had at your Murray St, Gawler store. We specifically asked for Marty to do the fitting of a suit for both me and my dad for my sisters wedding after my mum spoke with him with general enquires and feeling Marty would make my experience a lot easier.I’ve never tried on a suit before, but Marty made the whole process very easy and a little fun and was very welcoming. We had a good rapport and he made us all very comfortable.I look forward to picking up my 3 piece suit to wear in late -April and if I ever need a suit again I’m coming back to Marty.

I'm really bad with fashion and needed some work shirts. Went in and Martin sorted me out quick. Exactly the customer service I was looking for. Really happy.

Won't stand by their product. Pants were 5 months old, hardly worn and badly faded. Obviously a fault. They couldn't make a decision and had to send them away for verification rather than swap. Been buying my suits from peter shearer for nearly 30 years. Not any more. I suggest they get people in the store who can identify a product fault and make a common sense decision

Popped in to get my son sorted with a suit for his school formal. Was cheerily greeted by Marty who recognised this special occasion and looked after us so well. The consummate professional, with an absolute eye for detail and fashion. He gently provided my son some tips for wearing the selected garments for different occasions too which we appreciated. Extremely happy with the service and would not hesitate to return to and recommend Peter Shearer, Murray St Gawler in the future.

Needed to hire a suit at short notice, Staff were kind to a newcomer, super skilled at eyeing up sizes, knowledgeable in fashion and colour matching, along with plenty of advice.Despite their feeling that they had limited stock, I was presented with plenty of options and I wasn’t pressured in to making any purchases I wasn’t 100% happy with either!Walked out half an hour later with an entire ensemble at a VERY decent price! Highly recommend!

Great range and friendly staff. Had my suit fitted here and they were amazing . Excellent product knowledge and customer service (businesses should learn from these guys).Quality products and a modern store. I will definitely be back, thankyou guys.
