Really happy with the service from Janine. Thought my Vacuum was stuffed but she found the issue pretty fast and saved me having to wait weeks for warranty service & money to purchase a new vacuum while I wait for it to come back.Other Godfreys need customer service like hers. Originally bought from fountain gate, but the guy turned us away due to “too many high volume complaints & repairs.” Glad I came here instead.

Wonderful customer service, provided the missing part without extra cost. Esther you’re a star of the store!

We had a great experience today, he was very knowledgeable and very helpful. Didn't push us to buy anything and really knew the differences between the vacumes.Definitely recommend this store

I have purchased from other Godfrey stores before so decided to visit the Dandenong branch due to location at the time. Advertised online is $9.95 for vac repairs to all major brands + parts. Enter store then get told it is a $20 deposit that will come off the bill if you proceed with the quoted repair. I asked about the advert online and immediately body launguage changed and some half explanation for the $20. We needed it fix and given $20 would come off the total, agreed. A few days later after not hearing i noticed she did not write my full phone number on the docket. I called on Sunday. She acknowledge she did not have my phone number correct. Secondly she says 'oh the repairer is here now and says you need a new battery for the handheld vac'. I reminded her kindly to read the docket as i clearly stated that the battery was BRAND NEW and that that is not the issue with the vac [Are they just guessing ?!?] By now my confidence in the level of customer service at this particular store dropped and was feeling cheated. I rang the store early Monday morning requesting the vac be ready for me to collect and no further action to be taken with the quote. I was spoken too in such a rude manner by the manager. I then took complaint to head office who proceeded to assist with getting the vac returned to Dandenong for me along with arranging $20 refund and a big thank you to that team at customer assistance for excellent service. Upon collection the manager, again not very professional starts to explain how he rang his regional manager to get things sorted for me [really ??] I quizzed him why he is charging $20 when it is not advertised and then he says well if you dont proceed with the quote i loose out getting the vac tested. Then half way through his explanation he stops and states 'i'm tired explaining but we're not dodgy' . Nice attitude and that is not what is advertised!! This review is just for the Dandenong store. If you cannot install confidence in your customers then you should not be running a business. Godfreys overall i have not hesitated to shop with BUT i encourage you to avoid Dandenong. The worst customer service experience and if i could leave zero stars i would. And in the end all we needed was a new charger. Be honest !

Absolutely disappointed and annoyed at the level of customer service provided. My vacuum cleaner has been at the manufacturer for over a month because it’s waiting on a part. I’ve called multiple times for updates which goes back in the loop of “we’re still waiting”. Given the unusual time it’s taking, you would normally expect a proactive call or email. I’ve asked for it, been promised one and never got a call or email back. I’ve also asked for something I could use in the meantime and I was told we don’t do that because of Covid safety. Mind you we are in May 22. When I asked for the manager, he told me we could try to give you a older part of the vacuum until we get a new part. He said he would call me back the week after. Didn’t get a response so I called again and found out he wasn’t in. Got told by another staff that only a manager could issue something like that and we have to wait till then.Literally been in this loop which feels like months with lack of proactiveness from the manager.Seriously frustrating!

Purchased a stick vac and handy vac today., got a great deal. great service from the friendly store manager who gave me lots of info and advice on the various products....nice store display.... will definitely come again

Doesn’t even deserve one star!! We took our vaccum cleaner to get it checked and we were kept waiting for 12 days with no answer. We had to keep calling as they said they will contact us and they did not. Then after so much trial they told us “your vacuum cleaner works fine but we changed the brush(which we never asked for or for that matter were notified of)”. And now we are still waiting for their answer on why they changed anything if our vaccum cleaner had nothing wrong with it or we have to be charged for it. Their incompetence is just epic. Simple advice don’t buy anything here or even get it checked as they will manage to charge you for no reason.
