The Flower Shop

Aside from the magical decoration, furniture and setup, their drinks and service was fabulous. Very accommodating and friendly.I went there with my mum on a quiet Sunday evening, and I cannot wait to show my friends!Classy and relaxed vibe.

I had higher expectations for this place, I suppose it was the whole illusive vibe of being ushered in through the back of a flower shop.I left feeling a little underwhelmed. I think this place has a long way to go in terms of creating a speak easy" kind of environment. A few things that could be improved is the bar tables

Fortunate to attend a private function at The Flower Shop. Absolutely spectacular venue! Perfect atmosphere for a wonderful night.

What an amazing place !Sure to be the place to be in Penrith !!!From the shop front florist filled with gorgeous flowers to the intriguing tunnel that opens to a spectacular bar filled with flowers . Great vibe , drinks , food , excellent service and music .I can’t wait to share this place with friends ! Well done to the owners !

Thank you! Have been waiting forever for a place like this to open in Penrith. You have created a beautiful space with delicious food and a great drinks menu. The lobster roll and foccacia with black garlic butter are stand outs. Particularly appreciate the extensive whisky offerings! The staff were great and live music on a Sunday night - what a treat! Definitely our fave new 'go - to -place'.

I’ve tried this twice now and both times very disappointing. The first drinks took over 50 minutes to arrive, snacks came an hour after ordering and at then end of the evening when the 5 of us went to pay we were told we can’t split the bill- only an even amount could be charged to multiple cards- which obviously doesn’t work when you have non-drinkers included. A few other things that are lazy design- 2 tables at the entrance to the toilet which is unpleasant and unhygienic to sit at with the toilet swinging in your face, the high tables have low stools so if you’re not 5”9 your chin almost rests on the table, the back door is a contestant revolving stream of people in and out which is at odds the mission to get in from the front, and lastly, when you order hummus nothing comes with it- focaccia has to be preserved separately. The first time this happened we had a bowl of hummus and nothing to eat it with because they’d run out of focaccia. For a new venue it’s got a lot of basics to get right.

I was really excited to be going here for my Birthday last night however I was so disappointed, from waiting 20 minutes to order drinks which came out wrong (perhaps something to write on would have helped her remember the order) asking twice for water which did not arrive. Really don’t think the waitress wanted to be there bad vibe straight up..Sitting in the dark with all of us using a torch on our phones to see the menu (perhaps a little light on the table would be helpful) We were advised we were sitting in the darkest area with 2 menus between 4 ppl..Ordered the arancini balls, no flavour had to ask for salt , had to ask for cutlery, had to take napkins off table next to us, again only 2 napkins between 4 of us ..Left within the hour all 4 of us shaking our heads ..Don’t normally write bad reviews and I hope it improves over time but it’s doubtful we will be back.Gave the 2 stars because it really is pretty inside !!

Thought we’d give this place a try due to the reviews however, it’s not what it’s hyped up to be. Yes, the concept is amazing - walking into the store front of a florist and being led through a tunnel into a magical, hidden place which makes you feel like you’re in another world. However, it pretty much ends there. After being seated, we waited close to 20 mins to be served. The staff are friendly but don’t match the energy of the place with their service. With an establishment like this you’d except exceptional, on the ball service but it just wasn’t there. The food is well, just meh and again doesn’t match the energy of the place. We ordered the lobster rolls and kingfish and I must admit, we had high expectations - how could we not being in such a beautiful environment? The lobster rolls were very average and the kingfish was just a let down. Our drinks were great, can’t fault the cocktails at all but the service and food is such an important part of any establishment and they just didn’t stand out. We left feeling pretty disappointed because we really were excited to see a place like this in Penrith, there’s a lot of room for improvement for the Flower Shop to be the potential it has to be.

From the vibrant fresh flower entrance to the friendly and observant bar staff, you’re in for a divine night with a menu and live music to suit! So in love with this magical bar ✨
