La Trobe Sports Stadium (LTSS)

Simply an amazing sporting facility, car parking is really the only complaint that I have but it is easily overlooked by how new and clean the venue is.As a photographer the lighting here is very good to shoot at night compared to any other indoor venue I've shot in Melbourne.

Great facility for basketball. Parking facility could improve

Great sport stadium for volleyball, parking is not the best, but the stadium makes up for it.

Difficult to find within the sprawling University complex for first time patrons, and difficult to get to

Amazing new sports stadium across the road from La Trobe University in Bundoora. The basketball course are great and huge bathrooms. But the parking is terrible. Currently it’s a dirt track at the front with one entrance and exit that you can line up for ages to get out. My recommendation is to park at LaTrobe Uni across the road and walk the extra 5minutes. Your can will stay clean and you will not get rage at the wait.

Car park problemTerrible dirty parking and DANGEROUS to walk, I had a baby with a pram, my mother is elderly the nearest parking to go inside the stadium is this dreadful parking. Otherwise, you have to park and walk long distances. There is no information about the best parking or entry that you should mention, at least on the map; I ended up not watching my oldest son's game and only parked, left my mother and my baby inside the car and took him inside the stadium. There are small doors to enter the stadium directly, but it's closed; also, the benches for people to watch the game are not enough. Honestly, today was terrible, and I wouldn't say I like this stadium.

Very new. Large. Great facility. Car parking is garbage!

Great new stadium with heaps of courts. Lots of space to walk your dog behind the stadium. Car park is gravel and always makes my car dirty. Getting in and out of the car park is a nightmare, as you can only turn left on Kingsbury drive. For entry, you technically need to go up to the next oval and do a loop. No one follows the rules though, as it is all so ridiculous. La Trobe needs to asphalt the car park and create another entry/exit point up the other end of the car park. EDIT: the car park is much worse now with huge numbers of deep pot holes that are unavoidable making it unsafe for people walking to the stadium from their cars. All the cars driving bounce around all over the place. It's an accident waiting to happen....EDIT: they did fill in the pot holes but they've already started to become holes again. Given the high amount of traffic that uses the car park they really need to bite the bullet and concrete it like every other major basketball stadium in Melbourne

Fantastic facility. Really impressive. Such a modern basketball stadium.Always in great condition, super clean. Great venue for kids basketball.Playing lots of basketball here. Always in great condition and good atmosphere.1 year on and we love your Stadium. I wish the parking situation could be easier for families coming for basketball, but I never got a parking ticket yet. Thanks for running a great facility.

Great stadium with super clean toilets and facilities. The cafe coffee and muffins were beautiful. A little wait to make the coffee but well worth it. Highly recommend.
