Angelakis Bros Burnside Village

Sad guys! Really need to improve the service. Several times they have failed at customer service and that’s the last of our family coming here. Store closes at 5. 430 several times I ask for some fish and to remove the skin, nope knifes washed and can’t do it and staff are disinterested every time. Back to Norwood who never disappoint and always go above and beyond.

If the prices are the same as the Angelakis in the Central Market, probably the most overpriced fishmonger in the country

Pretty poor experience with the hot food. I now realize it is entirely possible to screw up fish and chips. $15 for soggy chips and bits and pieces of fish, which was dry at best. Exceedingly disappointing.This was purchased on Monday 7/6/21.

My family has been a loyal customer of this shop for over 10 years. However, we had terrible experiences with them for our last Christmas order. We have pre-ordered 1.5 kg freshly peeled SA king prawns and 2 x over 2kg freshly cooked crayfish for our Christmas lunch two weeks prior to Christmas. We then received a phone call from the shop saying they can only supply 1kg prawns a week before Christmas. When we picked up the order on 23/12, we were told there were no prawns for us at all. The two crayfish we received were in fact had been frozen and thawed, meat all soggy. For a shop that charges top dollar, the quality of the crayfish was appalling and customer service was extremely poor. We won't be purchasing any seafood from them anymore.

Obviously great quality seafood but make sure you bring a giant wad of cash. So bloody expensive..... The prawns were pretty good but $79 99 a Kg, bit over the top considering Coles do pretty good prawns at $28 a Kg

I haven't visited Burnside Village for a long time now. Since my parents & I shifted to another suburb. It would be hard for me to travel there. I would have to catch a bus or a taxi there and back. I have visited the Adelaide Central Market stall many months ago. They were very popular. So many people in a short space. I will go back next time when I have recovered enough from my stroke which happened in March of this year and its taken me about 3 months to relearn how to walk again. I am back home again with my dogs.

Very good seafood. Been shopping there for a couple years now and never fails to satisfy !

Not very happy lined up yesterday at Burnside for a dozen oyster to have for breakfast Christmas Day.They were DISGUSTING to say the least never never again!!!!!!
