My experience is with renting from and now my parents using them to rent out their granny flat.I rented a house in Epping, I was the sole signee on the contract for 6 months. We stayed for 7 months while our house went through a knockdown rebuild. The process was without hassle but the only concern I have was I was not offered fortnight rent payment. Rent was charged and direct debited from my account monthly. The owner showed up on the property on the first day thinking that I was the cleaner and not the tenant. They really should work on the communication. I rang Ray White office as some car was pulling into the driveway.Another pain point was the owner’s personal mail were going to the property and I had to deliver them to Ray White office personally. I don’t know why I’m responsible for that. I ended up throwing some of the letters out in the end because I was fed up.Now that my parents are letting out their granny flat the communication did not improve despite the property manager being in the same culture as my parents, my father was constantly misled into delivering extras that are not covered at the time of signing of lease. Things such as NBN and air conditioner. The tenant through the property manager promised to share the cost of installing air conditioning but it wasn’t to be in the end.The tenant also damaged floor tile with a kettlebell, by law they only paid for the corner that was cracked and not the cost of replacing the whole tile.The property manager is not acting in the best interest of the owner despite charging a fee to carry out their duty of care.Thanks for listening and I hope you are all smarter in making your choice for an agent.

It was excellent dealing with Min. Communication was clear and concise and he was helpful and assisted during the entire process of securing a property. He is easy to communicate with and was a pleasure to deal with.

Min Choe, the leasing consultant and Amelia the property manager are very friendly and professional. Once they noticed my existing tenant was leaving, the quickly organised advertising campaign and liaised with the tenant to have open house inspection before the tenant vacated. Even 2 applicants withdrew their applications, they quickly secured a third applicant and checked all the references for me. Within a day, a holding deposit was taken. I sincerely thanked them for all the work they did for me. Now the new tenant will move in 1 week after the present tenant move out. They kept me informed of all the progress and things that happened. A job well done guys.
