Beecroft Yoga

I commenced Yoga 12 months ago with Raewyn on recommendation after retirement from a predominately sedentary working life in academia. I look forward to Yoga practice each week and always feel so relaxed and energized after class. Raewyn is a true professional practitioner and instructor who cares for each and every yoga student to facilitate the optimal practice for all. I hope to make Yoga an ongoing part of my active and health retirement.

I have been enjoying Raewyn’s Yoga classes for the past 13 years and during this time I have been aware of a vast improvement in my physical health and mental well-being. Raewyn has always been able to modify poses to suit my particular needs and abilities but still encompassing a degree of difficulty to make each pose challenging.Raewyn conducts her classes in a most professional manner both in her ‘face-to-face’ and Zoom sessions.5 Star rating? No, I would say 6!!

I feel privileged to be guided in my yoga practice by two inspiring teachers, Raewyn and Sunita. Classes suit all levels of yoga, as all students alre encouraged to 'work to their own level' whilst receiving such thorough guidance. The best way to enrich your life.

I’ve been a client of Beecroft Yoga for almost as long as we’ve lived in Beecroft; ie ~15-17 yrs, I’m a 75 yo woman and not fond of exercise, but I absolutely love my sessions with both teachers at Beecroft Yoga. There’s a way to do the poses for all fitness levels, and the benefit for my body and mind has exceeded all my expectations. With the recent pandemic, Beecroft Yoga has made both personal and Zoom classes available for students, which has been very welcomed. Great for us oldies to continue our practice in the comfort of our own homes. Thank you Raewyn and Sunita for providing such an excellent service to our community, both young and old.

As a long term member of the Beecroft Yoga community, my class is an essential part of my week. Raewyn's professionalism, her thoughtfully planned practices, and her care for each individual are very special qualities. Her guidance occurs at exactly the right moment in a pose. Her sequences are well developed to build our breathing and movement, to progress our skills, and then to rest calmly. Raewyn's expertise and her gentle presence are sincerely valued, while maintaining our practice through Zoom classes has been such a gift.

I've been a client of Raewyn's for over 10 years and, as I'm involved in 5 tennis comps a week, I would never be able, at 66, to keep up this regime without Raewyn's yoga practice.She always aims to maximise flexibility and core strength in her sessions and is always conscious of the physical capabilities of her students.Her lessons incorporate seamless transitions from one pose to another and are both challenging and confidence building.Raewyn creates a most welcoming and nurturing environment.
