Rent a Sat Phone

I am not happy at all with this business & going to contact the ACCC. I have supplied my credit card details in good faith for them to charge me for the rental term as agreed upon. Days after the phone was returned they have, without further authorization, deducted additional money to cover “late return” at a higher rate (penalty rate I suppose) - even though they knew about the public holiday when I signed up for the phone. I consider this bad business practice and won’t recommend this company to anyone.

I rented a sat phone for my daughter who went on holiday Perth to Exmouth to Karijini return. There are dead spots for mobiles so for safety we rented a sat phone (which everybody should do!). It was a simple and easy process to rent, friends service and guidance when collecting, the equipment whilst used was in excellent condition, my daughter found it easy to use, and it was not expensive. 10/10 for customer service, products and value for money. I highly recommend to anybody travelling anywhere out of range of coverage to use Rent a Satellite Phone.

I rented a satellite phone purely for peace of mind on our recent vacation to Karijini. I interacted with several members of the team and found them to be friendly and professional, as well as knowledgeable and thoughtful. Thankfully, we did not have any emergencies, so the phone stayed in my backpack through all of our hikes in the gorges, but I was happy knowing that I could call for help should the need arise. I will definitely rent a sat phone from them for future vacations to areas that lack cellphone or wifi service. The relative cost of this insurance" is a drop in the bucket compared to the stress one would experience being in a remote location with no way to call for help in an emergency."

Very friendly, informative and professional to deal with. Pick up and drop off were made easy and the sat phone worked superbly in the remote context of the Kimberley. I would definitely choose this hire company for my next trip to somewhere off the grid.

I Hired a Satellite Phone from Tom at RASP on Bagot Road in Subiaco. He clearly explained the different options and recommended the phone that was most appropriate for the region we were travelling to: the Gibb River Road in the Kimberley's. Just terrific service from Steve Wall and his staff. They arranged for our sat phone to be delivered to our hotel, in our absence due to not bring in Perth until a weekend day. As well, they arranged the return of the phone —— again —— in our absence after having departed on our return trip to the US. I highly recommend this firm —- they are the best…
